Chapter 65 - The Tales Of Snake And Eagle

Don't worry, we're inside The Deathless World. At the very least you'll be able to see him again. Eden only stares at the snake's head. Soon, he begins to fall on all fours while holding his throat still. The tears are coming out of Eden's eyes as he cries at the death of the snake.

"L-Lu Baise..." The tears dropped on the snake's head as Eden held it in his palm. Soon after, something has stabbed Kiyo in the left eye. It was the Hawk as it was flying around Kiyo. Kiyo tried to defend himself against the Hawk but his hands were scratched all over.

Finally, the Hawk flies far and comes at Kiyo at great speed but somebody interrupts as the Hawk gets hit by the giant hammer like a baseball. The Hawk hits the wall, and a second later they confirm that the Hawk is not moving.

"Y-Ying De..."

Eden who was crying crawled over to his hawk. He touched the hawk to get his pulse. The Hawk is confirmed dead as Eden hugs the body along with the snake. Mika who's holding a giant hammer wearing a gas mask. Just watch Eden crying alongside Kiyo.

"Uhh... Are we the bad guys here?"

"Certainly, but he was gonna kill us first so..." Sooner or later, the crying sound turns into laughter. Eden stood up, the laughter got louder. Kiyo and Mika got a chill down their spine. Kiyo gripped his sword tightly because his instinct told him this wasn't gonna end well for both of them.

Until... Mika's shoulders were scratched by an invisible force. Although it's small. Kiyo who witnessed it prepared to brace himself.

"It's coming!" Second later, their body was scratched all over the body. As if they were scratched by the cat. Kiyo decided to finish this by charging at Eden at full speed. But it didn't end well. As Kiyo is pierced by the spear as he's about to swing his sword.

Some kind of invisible force didn't let them trade blows with each other as Kiyo's sword was an inch from Eden's neck. Second later, Eden turns around, but he's not moving his body.

Witnessing a horrifying sight, Kiyo tried to get away from him but the spear went deeper as there was some kind of force that pushed him deeper into the spear. Mika doesn't stand by and runs to Kiyo and Eden's direction.

But as soon as Mika was about to reach Kiyo, the floor was cut into a round shape. Making Mika fall down to the deeper floor. Kiyo tried to reach Mika with his hand as he fell down. Seeing Mika can't make it, Kiyo's eyes get blurrier. He started to lose his strength as he was at the death door.

But Eden has another plan. He decided to push Kiyo from his spear. Making Kiyo lie on his back. Seeing Eden didn't finish him, Kiyo decided to have a conversation...

"W-Why didn't you just finish me?..." Hearing a word from Kiyo, Eden smirked. His smile reached his ears, The green eye emanating inside the lightless room, his clothes also had been changed to black pants and a white shirt with long sleeves. As if he's totally a different person from before.

"No... no no no no... You don't get to rest in peace while I have to suffer!" As Eden screamed, he cut Kiyo's right arm with his spear. Seeing his arm was no longer with him, Kiyo screamed in pain.

("Fuck it hurts so much! He wasn't any better than the Silver brother!")

Eden tried to cut Kiyo's leg, but Kiyo reacted faster by kicking Eden's feet and kicking him in the chin as he fell down. Kiyo gets up and tries to run but as he's about to go down to the hole...

"RULE!" As if floating in the weightless space, Kiyo fixated only on one space. Unable to move anywhere else until he falls down by himself. As Kiyo gets up, he realizes that he is somewhere else. Rather than the dark, closed room in a building. He was in an outdoor somewhere else.

"The Fang's Farm."

The sky is dark but the giant moon on the sky is keeping them bright. On the ground, there was a giant amount of wheat surrounding him. On the other side, there was Eden. Standing there with a spear in his hand. As soon as their eyes met, Eden was the first one to break the silence...

"Have you ever heard of a tale of Snake and Eagle? One day, Mommy Snake is sleeping in a circle with her egg in the middle in other to protect her children who are about to be born safe. But as soon as Mommy Snake opened her eyes, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. The Eagle took one of her eggs meanwhile the rest of the eggs were crushed by the Eagle."

Seeing this story goes, Kiyo knows it isn't gonna end well as he's holding something behind him.

"Mommy Snake wasn't happy about it so she decided to take revenge and get her last children back home. As Mommy Snake arrives at the eagle's home, he sees the eagle has flown away from its nest.

Mommy Snake decides to take this opportunity to trespass into the nest and grab her last egg. But at the same time, Mommy Snake also realized that the eagle had her egg inside the nest. Knowing what she did to her children she destroyed the eagle's eggs one by one.

But at the same time, the eagle has gotten back home and witnessed how Mommy Snake has killed almost all her children. Surrounded by wrath, the eagle dashes at the snake and grabs her last egg which contains her children in there.

But... the two had met their eyes. Knowing what they did to each other, the two went into a fight. But soon after, they both realized that the egg of their last child had shattered. At that moment, they both feel resentment and regret toward their action. And they decide to stay by two. Alone and alone. Keeps remembering their regrets forever."

"Now tell me, should Mommy Snake run away as soon as she got their child? Or was the eagle supposed to never come in contact with a snake? Regardless, these two too... Hasn't gotten along the first time they met. But you killed them... Hehehehe... Now I'm gonna make you regret... Hehehehehe..."

At that moment, Eden didn't notice that there was a needle right on his chest. A multiple needle.

"Shut up~" Hearing Kiyo's voice, Eden felt offended.

"W-What did you say?!"

"I said, shut up... you fucking narcissist..."
