As soon as the two, Ayla and Graham, departed, Kylie and Graham also left. He drove Kylie back to the apartment just as she had requested.
"It feels so empty now." Kylie sighed with a dispirited look when she entered the apartment. The place held so many precious memories of Ayla and her.
"It sure is." Graham nodded. He could also feel it. It felt as if a part of it was missing. It didn't feel as great as it always did whenever Ayla was around. Kylie sighed for the umpteenth time as she scanned the house. Every corner of it reminded her of Ayla. The way she would clean it without complaining about how lazy Kylie was, the way she would cook for her and call her inexperienced, the way they would cuddle as they watched movies and played games. It was all there. Everything reminded her of Ayla. What should she do? Will it always be that way?
"So, what do you plan on doing?"Graham asked as he watched her frown from time to time.
