"I can't let you go on your own." Hayden said after a slight pause. He knew they would fight because of this, so he had been posting telling her. He didn't want the two of them to fight because of the heartache he would feel.
"Why?" She asked. Why wouldn't he let her go on her own. What made him take such a huge step?
"I don't want what happened when you were all alone happen to you ever again. You, of all people, should know how hard it was to get over that, I'm pretty sure you aren't fully recovered. Are you?" Hayden analyzed. He was sure she was still traumatized. She couldn't even enjoy barbecue because the smell of burnt meat reminded her of what the bullies did to her. How could he let her go alone knowing that she still had wounds she needed to recover from? He had to make sure he stayed by her side to avoid such stuff from happening.
