Hayden thought for a moment before she picked up his call.
"Dad." Hayden called out respectfully.
"Son." His father answered . Before he continued, "How have you been?" Of course, he had to know how he has been, at least, as a father. Every parent who loved their kids did that.
"I've been fine. " Hayden said as he drew the curtains in the bedroom. The light was a bit too much.
"How is she? Hasn't she woken up yet?" Mr. Miller asked. If one listened keenly, they could tell that he was actually implying something.
"Not yet. I hope she does soon." Hayden glanced at Ayla, who was playing with her fingers and said. He had to lie because they wanted to keep it under wraps for a while.
"I know that she woke up ." Mr. Miller said with certainty, this made Hayden clench his hand. It only had to be one person, Graham. Couldn't that guy ever keep quiet?
