"Why does it seem like she's hiding something?" Nicole watched Kylie's back as she left before asking Shay.
"I think so, too." Shay said meaningfully. After all, he had interacted closely with her. He knew when she was lying or hiding something from him. He was sure he would get his answer soon enough.
He fished his phone out of his trousers pocket and called Ayla. However, it sent him straight to voicemail. Shay narrowed his eyes. Was she really okay? Or, did something happen to her family again like she told him last time?
"What is it?" Nicole turned to look at Shay and asked. Why would he frown all of a sudden. It's as if something bad happened.
