After thinking for God knows how long, Hayden drove off. He was going to strategically plan on how to make Ayla better sooner. A year or so seemed too long for him to wait. Wouldn't he die from yearning for her presence too much? So, he decided to think of anything that would help her recover faster. At least her heart was still beating, right? Now, he wished he was a neurosurgeon. He would have been able to study her nerves and the damage they suffered and be able to identify the cure. However, he did cardiology. He was just a heart surgeon. After this, he was going to further his studies. He was going to study nerves once she woke up. Only then would he be able to diagnose her in case such a thing ever happened again.
