The 'Lineage' aspect was, of course, the easiest and simplest one to use to become a noble, as all you had to do was be lucky enough to be born into a Noble Household.
However, if you weren't one of those lucky few, then you'd need to acquire a certain reputation or amass enough merits to be considered for Noble Positions.
Nonetheless, even with this fact, the majority of 'commoners' who were able to acquire a 'title' were few and far between.
And even the ones who did end up becoming nobles would only be granted either the 'Knight', 'Lord' or 'Baron' Noble Ranks.
Furthermore, their cultivation had to be far higher than the norm for those of that rank, and the fief bestowed upon them by the kingdom would be either small, barren, or both.
Nevertheless, it wasn't like the AquaRing Kingdom was an outlier in this aspect, as every single kingdom and even the empires followed these guidelines and even stricter ones.
