Melody.
Her long dark hair cascaded down her back, and she stared out of the window with a distant look in her eyes. Penelope hadn't seen her sister for half a year, but she felt Melody had changed so much quickly. Her breath caught in her throat as she approached Melody, unsure what to expect.
Melody turned slowly, her expression guarded yet surprised as she locked eyes with Penelope. There was a moment of silence between the two sisters, the weight of their unspoken words hanging heavily in the air.
"Melody," Penelope finally broke the silence between them, her voice barely a whisper.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she took in the sight of her younger sisters after so many months of uncertainty. No matter how busy she was at work or how happy she was with Raven, a part of her kept thinking of her missing sister. She had longed to be reunited with Melody, and finally, here she was.
"Penny, what are you doing here?"
