After a week, Sanryu's group reaches the port city of Marienburg. A medium-sized city with twelve hundred inhabitants, the walls surrounding the city are not very high, barely reaching three meters. A large port can be seen on the horizon, taking advantage of the height of the hill where the group is stationed at the moment.
"That's Marienburg ehh, the first time I see a port city, I'm curious." Sanryu is curious to visit this new city, he has never been so close to the sea and is keen to see the vastness of the ocean.
"I will sneak in as scheduled." Fenrya must enter the hidden city, after all the tabaxi are currently the enemies of the kingdom of Alterac.
"Thank you Fenrya, and be patient, sooner or later this fact will change." Sanryu doesn't like seeing Fenrya sneak in all the time, and he promises that this problem won't last long. "And Zaria, I'm sorry I can't go directly to my father, you have to be patient a little longer." Sanryu apologizes to the red-haired girl.
"Don't worry, Sanryu, I understand the urgent task we need to solve." Zaria has no problem waiting a few more days.
The group heads towards the entrance, showing their documents to the guards, they enter Marienburg with ease.
"I have destroyed equipment again, ahhh I want a rare weapon so I can wield it for longer." Sanryu would like a particular weapon, like those of Fenrya and Lysandra.
"Sooner or later you will find it too, I'm sure of it, Sanryu." Lysandra reassures the boy, she doesn't want to see Sanryu discouraged.
The group heads towards an inn, thanks also to Zaria's funds, they manage to get the rooms they need to sleep.
"Zaria, as soon as I complete the first guild missions, I will repay this debt." Sanryu intends to complete some missions immediately, in order to earn some funds, this way he can repay the coins that Zaria used to rent the room.
"It's not a problem, you don't have to worry, you don't have to rush. Rather, I also intend to undertake missions, I'll come with you." Zaria wants to complete missions with Sanryu, so he can also train in the use of magic. 'And I'll be able to spend a while with him, alone.' Zaria looks towards the goddess, and the latter is minding her business while she inspects the room. 'I know she doesn't care about going on quests, but who expected her to be a goddess.' The whole group now knows Lurue's true identity, but she has no problem with this fact.
"I will go to the church immediately, I must warn the clerics that something evil is spreading in these lands." Lysandra greets the group, she and she immediately heads towards the church.
"So I and Zaria are going to the guild, I bet you Lurue are going to stay in this room." Sanryu turns to the goddess, it is she who only nods her head. "While you Fenrya?"
"I will inspect the city, most likely there are still tabaxis around here, hidden. I need to find them and hear what they are doing right now, don't worry, I won't betray you." Fenrya managed to follow the group, she warns her friends that she will go in search of some of her kind.
"Okay, but be careful, don't push yourself too far." Sanryu warns the tabaxi to be careful, the girl just nods her head and runs away from the window.
The couple heads to the guild, and they always find the usual traffic of adventurers coming and going from the entrance to the headquarters. Others are conversing with each other and still others are choosing their missions on the bulletin board. The two boys approach the notice board and after a few minutes, they choose the mission they want to undertake.
"I can't believe it, Yasaze?!?!" As the duo was about to head to the counter to get the guild's approval for the mission, Sanryu eyes a girl.
"Little brother?! How long, what are you doing here?" The girl in question is none other than Sanryu's half-sister, Yasaze. The girl is amazed to see her brother down here, after all she left him in the village with her parents.
"Hehe, let's say I started my adventure too, right after you." Sanryu chuckles, she's clarifying things to her sister.
"What an adventurous spirit my little brother has, come here." Yasaze gives Sanryu a big hug, but she only now realizes that her brother is not alone. "Ohh? And who is she, your girlfriend?" Yasaze says sarcastically as she looks at Zaria.
"R-girl?? Of course not! I-I'm Zaria Floga, a noble." Zaria is embarrassed, and her cheeks immediately turn a deep red, immediately clearing up her misunderstanding.
"Gee, then I'm sorry I misunderstood Miss Zaria Floga." Yasaze bows slightly, being in the presence of a person of high birth.
"There's no need for all this gallantry, don't worry, your brother has helped me a lot in the past." Zaria tells Yasaze not to address her as if she were talking to an ordinary girl.
"I understand, then I will do as you say, I will feel at ease." Yasaze is happy not to have to use those manners, and feels freer by speaking as she wants. "So little brother, tell me how your journey began, how you met Zaria, I'm curious." Yasaze wants to hear what Sanryu has to say about her adventures so far.
"Well then, I just started my career, but a lot has happened, caa sister." Sanryu begins to tell what has happened to him so far, summarizing quickly, but only after they sit in chairs placed near the refreshment tables.
"What?! Did all this happen to you?? They're like so much more interesting than my adventures, I'm jealous. But at the same time I'm worried that something bad could happen to you...I'm happy that you came out unscathed, but also harder." Yasaze is genuinely worried that her brother wouldn't make it out alive, but seeing him here in front of her reassures her. "So right now, there are negative forces acting in the shadows, and it would seem that they want to destroy Alterac...what a mess you've gotten yourself into, little brother, but if that's the case, I can't ignore it. " Yasaze gets up from his chair and looks into Sanryu's eyes. "Dear little brother, from now I will join you, just to see what is happening in this kingdom, I am curious. And then I will also be able to see how you have grown in this very short amount of time."
"Really? Would you be willing to travel with us?" Sanryu is shocked by his sister's intentions, he doesn't believe that he wanted to travel with someone, but this news only makes him happier than usual. "I'm happy with your choice, and I'm sure the other members of the group will be happy with it and won't have any problems with it." Sanryu feels more comfortable knowing that his sister is joining his group. 'Our overall strength has increased, we have more opportunities to be able to influence these disastrous events.'
"You were going on a mission, right? I'll join you, after all I have nothing to do right now." Yasaze joins the duo, so she can see her brother's improved fighting skills.
Thus the duo became a trio, and together they headed to the location of the mission. The mission is quite simple, they have to find a target, eliminate it, and for the three boys it was an easy game. Half a day passes, and the trio, after having collected the reward from the guild, return to the tavern.
Lysandra had also returned from church, she is together with Lurue, they meet Sanryu's sister.
"You didn't tell us you had a sister." Lurue tells Sanryu.
"Let's say you didn't think it was important information to disclose." Sanryu simply forgot to reveal that he had a sister.
"What a bad brother you are, you forgot to mention me, I'm disappointed in you, Sanryu." Yasaze gives off a fake disappointed expression and shakes his head from right to left.
"I apologize." Sanryu claps his hands, as a sign of prayer, and apologizes to his sister.
"I'm back, hm? Do we have a guest?" Fenrya enters through the window and Yasaze's presence is immediately noticed.
"You're back Fenrya, this is my sister, Yasaze. Yasaze this girl is Fenrya, another member of our group. Fenrya you can safely lower your bush, my sister knows your identity, you can rest easy." Sanryu warns Fenrya that her sister is a quiet and understanding person.
Fenrya lowers her hood and shows her cat ears to Yasaze, the latter does not have an exaggerated reaction, she only hints at a smile.
"I discovered something unusual while I was walking around town." Fenrya immediately begins speaking, revealing what she has discovered. "I spoke with the tabaxi group hidden in this city, I pretended to be a scout who came to Marienburg just to find out the status of the group lurking in this city. They revealed some interesting information to me, the first is that Kraven is his group, is still in this city, and they still have the relic with them. Apparently, it has not yet been brought to the kingdom's castle, even though almost two months have passed since they returned from the expedition to Lustria. The second is that the the Impenetrable Keep has fallen, Tamorga has managed to enter the realm of Alterac." Fenrya looks towards Zaria. "Apparently she defeated Vestija in a Ch'aqway, it is the surrender of her one of her of her women, now she is on her side of her, bound by the oath of challenge."
"I can't believe it...Vestija is one of the strongest individuals in the kingdom, and she was defeated, this Tamorga must be an exceptional fighter." Zaria is shocked to hear the fort's fall, she and she can't believe that Vestija has been defeated.
"It certainly is, perhaps it is the strongest tabaxi of the tribes that live in Lustria, and now that it has arrived here, our problems will increase." Fenrya warns the group that they are now immersed even deeper in their problems.
"But Kraven is still here, in Marienburg...but why?" Sanryu wants to know why this Kraven is still in Marienburg and she hasn't given the relic to the king yet.
"From what the tabaxi have managed to learn, Kraven has raised the cost of his reward, demanding something more, and the king is trying to negotiate the deal. He cannot take the relic by force, as Kraven has threatened the king that he would destroy the relic as soon as he realized that the king was plotting his murder." Fenrya explains the reason for Kraven's presence in this city.
"That's why, but if we could get this relic, then we could have control of the situation." Zaria hypothesizes an unequivocal fact.
"Easier said than done, Kraven may not be as strong as Tamorga, but he is still a valid opponent. The only way I can think of to defeat him is to attack him all together, otherwise we will have no hope." Fenrya proposes to attack Kraven all together, if only one of them dares to face him alone, he would not make it out alive.
"So we should attack as a group, but there are also his henchmen to deal with." Sanryu says that Kraven is not alone, with some followers who are part of his gang. "And they will all be skilled hunters, given the nature of their leader."
"We should think about it carefully, at the moment I only know that he is staying in the Orabyssi villa, as a guest." Fenrya knows Kraven's location.
"Why do we always have to end up in noble villas?" Sanryu voices her thoughts.
'Am I wrong or does this group only have female members? My brother wants to create a harem?' These are Yasaze's thoughts as she watches the entire group.
