Drops of water which came from the sky collided with Milo's face.
"It seems it is going to rain heavily." Milo looked up and saw the sky filled with dark clouds. He wasn't wrong. After some minutes, it started to rain very heavily.
The team quickly get into the tent they had prepared. There were a total of 200 people present on this uninhabited mountain. 50 of them are scientist and rest are soldiers. As for why the scientists and soldiers are present here? It is because of the terrifying energy they are getting from this mountain.
In the tent, Milo and some of his friends were talking about some things. Milo was a man of 40 years old. They were sent to this mountain in order to research about the cause of the energy emitted by this mountain. It is not some thermal energy emitted by the earth but something is inside the mountain itself and is emitting the energy.
"I still can't think of what the hell is inside this mountain that can release the same amount of energy as from 4 nuclear bomb."
"Moreover, we are still unable to find what type of energy is this. We have never encountered something like this."
"Hey, do you think that there is some kind of weapon stored inside this mountain."
"I can't deny that possibility. Otherwise, what could be releasing this energy."
Milo listened to their talk and felt that the possibility of a weapon stored here is very minimal. Who could store a weapon inside a mountain. They have already checked the whole mountain and there was no secret way to get inside it.
As the scientists were discussing this anomaly in their tent, the soldiers on the foot of the mountain were drinking and enjoying themselves fully.
They were sent here to protect the scientists and seal off this place. Besides that, there was nothing they have to do other than enjoying. Thought they were sent to patrol, but who would come here in the first place.
One soldier stood up. "I am going for bathroom. You guys enjoy." He exited the tent with an umbrella and released the urea he had stored in his bladder on some pitiful plants.
After doing his work, he walked back to the tent. But as he was going back, he suddenly stopped and saw someone walking up the mountain.
He could not see his face as it was 09:12 of night and the umbrella he was holding has hidden his face.
"It seems to be a boy? What the hell is he doing here? Didn't he see the warning sign and barricade on the way." The soldier changed his way and walked towards the boy, to inform him that this place is sealed and on one is allowed here.
Their distance lessened as both walked toward each other. The soldier did not think that this boy is a problem at all. What could a single boy do? He seems to be much younger than him. If he is here for a problem, with his skill he can easily apprehend him.
Both with their umbrella walked and walked. The raindrops did not seem to stop but increasing. It seems it is going to rain all night. The moon was also nowhere in sight, and the stars were hidden.
"Hey boy, what are you doing here? Didn't you see the barricade and warning sign on the way? This place is sealed right now and no civilian is allowed here. The government is doing work. Now go back." It was strange that the soldier still could not see the face of the boy even with such short distance. It was not that his face was still hidden with an umbrella, but he still could not see it.
It was like his very perception is damaged.
The soldier, feeling uneasy and hurry to return, said once again to the boy, seeing that he had not responded in any way.
"Boy, are you hearing my voice? You are not deaf, right? Return from where you have come. There is work going on here."

Silence.
The soldier now annoyed, closed his distance and placed his right hand on the boy's right shoulder.
"Hey, are you alright? I am telling you to return? Don't tell me that you are really deaf?"

This time was different. The soldier heard the sound of chewing and sucking something. It was from the boy. He has something in his mouth.
"Hey, what is in your mouth?" He didn't know why, but the soldier started to feel very uneasy. Like something is happening in his body, and there was a great curiosity to know what the boy was eating.
This time the boy answered.
With a smile.
"What is in my mouth? Isn't it your eye?" A smile formed on the boy's face as he stuck his tongue out.
The soldier face turned pale, and he seemed to go into a daze. His brain seemed to have stopped working at all, and the body won't move.
Then a great pain from his right eye woke him up.
"AAAAAAAAHHAHHHHHHHHH, M-MY E-EYE. AAAHHHHAAA"
The scream scared all the birds sitting on the trees.
The soldier saw what was on the boy's tongue.
It was an eye. His right eye.
He hadn't noticed before, but somewhere in the middle of his confrontation with the boy, his right eye has stopped working and there was only darkness.
Then at the next moment he saw another terrifying thing. The boy bit his right eye, which was on his tongue. The eye split into two. One part goes inside his mouth and the other part fell on the ground.
The soldier already paled face lost all his color and he turned and ran back all his way to the tent.
He didn't know what to do and what was this monster in front of him. All he wanted right now to meet his friends so that he can feel the assurance of life once again. Feel the safety given by his friends. And...
