When Ainz heard Albert, just like he thought earlier the group captain had a similar line of thought with him, while the other guards simply nodded, albeit confused they understood he must have discovered something strange for him to have said that.
Albert took this chance, to go get some food since they were soon hungry and needed to rest after the exhausting battle, and aside from that the mission was far from over, so they couldn't go back.
When they got to the inner circle of the village, Albert thought it was finally time to ask the questions that had been on his mind, but in the end after asking around, he found nothing really useful, except similar complains.
