"How can you even be spacing out during lessons? Do you know what Lilith went through just so her son could get a teacher? I didn't want to say this, but left for your father you don't even deserve to be educated nor get a teacher, yet instead of you paying attention you are doing something else. Do you know to the entire kalamas household, you are worse than even a bastard?
"If not for Lilith you would have been killed long ago, the only way to make her proud is to be the best you can, even if you can't become a cultivator you can still get to become a professor in literature, there's nothing bad about that."
'Nothing bad about that my ass'Ainz thought as he glared at her.
After Olvia scolded him, she couldn't help but shook her head, it wasn't that she wanted to be harsh or seem wicked, it was just that she felt pity for lilith, while lilith wasn't a bad person she had been treated unjustly ever since she got married to andrew.
It was why she suddenly let out such an outburst, although this was the first he had spaced out like that she wanted to make sure Ainz understood how much his mother had sacrificed for him. Actually, if anything this wasn't the first time he had been secretly reading a book about cultivators, but this was just the first time he had been caught by olivia.
Although he had no interest in literature, he still took his time to listen and learn it, he did so only because of lilith, and the fact she had gone through so much to get him a lesson teacher. After all, he had seen right from his birth how his own father despised and maltreated them. She could have left him and lived a much more comfortable life, but she stayed and looked after him.
Those things she did had become engraved to his memories, and left a deep impression on him, he was only trying to pay her for the good she did, however, the lesson teacher Olivia was really becoming annoying.
"But teacher, I wasn't spacing out or trying to avoid your lessons, I was truly reading what was in the book. If you don't believe me,I can tell you what was written in the book, it was actually about cultivators, wizards and magical beas…"
Smack!
The moment Ainz let out those words from his mouth, she suddenly raised her hand and swung them at him. Ainz saw them coming at him in slow motion, but chose not to dodge it wasnt that he couldn't avoid or dodge her, he wanted to avoid creating a scene.
He had sworn to keep his cards and power as close to his chest as possible, not even letting Lilith his mother know about them.
He wanted to avoid anything that would make him blow his cover, since he wasn't sure how strong she was he wanted to avoid anything that would lead to her being suspicious of him.
The hit landed on his arm this time, but to his teacher's helplessness, Ainz stared at her with his cute baby watery eyes, however, she couldn't help but notice something she wasn't sure if she was just seeing things, or not, but she noticed while it seemed like he was about to shed tears, there were not trace of tears in his eyes, in fact they seem to lack the emotion of a child.
'What's wrong with this child? Is it just me or is there something wrong with him? Is it that he is used to beating, but Lilith said she has never laid her hands on him before. Could I be imagining things because of stress?' Olivia couldn't help but think to herself.
"Those things there are not meant for your age, what you should focus on should be what I am teaching. Nevermind, since we are done with today's lessons, you can go take a rest and don't ever read books like that again." Massaging her forehead, Olivia said as she picked up the book he had been reading, while Ainz left the room.

At this point Ainz was currently staring at his attributes panel, ever since that day where he had gotten three attributes from pushing himself past his limits, the system had not given him any free attribute points again no matter how hard he trained or pushed himself past his limits.
It was as if he only got those attributes points, since it was the first time he had pushed past his limit, and since the system recognizes it as an achievement it decided to reward him, it was likely that if he wanted to increase his attributes again like he did before he would have do something different and was worth it for the system to reward him.
Meanwhile, his life kept going while he cultivated the wyvern technique which was the only thing that still gave him experience points till this day, at this point it had accumulated to over forty thousand experience points, this was something that took him almost three years to get, even though he was frustrated about it there was nothing he could do.
For some time there was no news of him spreading in the kalamas household as well, it suddenly seemed like he had disappeared after the storm he had stirred. However, Ainz simply didn't care about those things, he was instead busy with his life and planning the next thing to do.
When he was less busy, he would spend time with Lilith and she would comb his already long black hair while singing for him. Hearing her voice that was so full of warmth would always cheer him and ease his always tensed heart.
