Bruce was surprised when he heard him, usually, anyone would be worried about their life, but the crazy kid instead was worried that his mother would hear him, he coughed a bit before replying.
"Kid, I didn't want to reveal this to you until we arrived, but the place we are going is an underground prison of the outer ring. This is a place we use in torturing criminals, even killing people who went against the Kalamas family, and since the time of its existence till now, no one besides some of the important guards knows such a place existed.
Ainz nodded, after he heard what he said, this erased the little worry he had in his mind, before saying.
"Then, I am ready."
Bruce nodded and looked at Ainz briefly, before moving toward the bottom of the corridor, while Ainz followed from behind.
"While you are already prepared physically for the treatment, I still need to know if you are knowledgeable enough. In order to avoid mistakes, I want you to recite the procedure aloud for eight gates of asura."
Aniz was taken aback for a moment, but soon began explaining.
"According to the tome of the eight gates of asura, it is an ancient treatment consisting of creating eight little gates called acupoints in the body by destroying eight parts in the body, to naturally create absorption gates that will accumulate the world energy called mana on the body.
"However, since the creation and destruction process is chaotic, the specimen must be conscious during the process to direct the world energy to the place where the eight acupoints will be destroyed and reconstructed to create eight gates, from the leftovers.
"The specimen, after successfully creating these eight gates, must also use his mental energy to hold the newly opened acupoints until they solidify and connect properly to the body. The last step of the eight gates of asura, is to endure the entire traumatic transformation the opened gate will cause to the body of the specimen, and then wait for the new body to be entirely filled with mana.
"However, the process is not complete until it is repeated seven times."
Bruce stopped when Ainz finished explaining, it seemed like his plan to postpone the treatment failed to work again, at this point there was nothing he could do anymore, eventually they arrived at the front of the corridor and then he tapped randomly at the wall in front of him.
The moment his hands left the wall, they went back and began to slid to the right as the entire place vibrated heavily as though it was about to collapse on itself, right after they could see a dark and dusty passage that led downward.
"Kid, we are almost there, what are the dangers and advantages of the eight gates of asura method."
After saying that, he began to descend through the passage, with Ainz following from behind.
"According to the predecessors of the eight gates of asura, the biggest disadvantage of the method is the high rate of mortality since one mistake can cause a chain reaction to the rest of the treatment and then cause the specimen to die afterward.

"Furthermore, they can not practice or cultivate another body cultivation method before finishing the eight gates of asura method, since the gates are fragile and can't withstand any other forms of nourishment.
"Lastly is the courage to undergo such hellish torture, since the specimen can just wait for their mana core to be formed and then use an orthodox cultivation method, instead of risking their life. Ainz kept explaining while he was following Bruce down the passage, Bruce would only nod every once in a while every time he finished a couple of sentences, as they walked deeper, the place suddenly began to vibrate again, as the source of light which came from the wall was closing in on itself.
Only then did Ainz begin to notice there were little lights at the sides of the wall down to the bottom of the passage, that were made from wooden torches fixed on the walls of the underground.

"The eight gates enhances your entire body and performance, when using martial arts and exponentially strengthen and heighten your senses, the reason the body can be compared to a semi-rank 4, is that after the eight gates are formed, the quality of the mana will instantly equal the mana of a semi rank 4, once the eight gates are opened.
"The biggest turning point is that the eight gates of asura method does not require any meditative forms or postures to refill the mana in the body because the gates themselves automatically and continuously absorb mana, until each gate is filled with mana.
