Chapter 17 - Chapter 17:Clandestine Offering

Allegra recalled that she turned 18 the night of her kidnapping.

"Twenty-two," she replied confidently.

"Where are you from?" the old woman inquired further.

"I'm from Nightshade Haven," Allegra finally disclosed, her eyes trailing off and locking in the youngest son's gaze.

The scent of blood on him made her senses heighten. She wanted to drink it so badly, but she held herself back. He stared at her as if he knew everything about her. "Allegra," he breathed, the name rolling off his tongue like an enchanting spell.

"How did you meet Declan?" he asked, his gaze piercing.

"Love at first sight, I guess," Declan casually replied.

"We do not believe in love at first sight. Is she your mate?" his brother inquired, his tone serious. "How did you meet?"

Allegra looked at Declan, silently pleading with him not to say yes, knowing that things would become complicated if he did.

"He bought her for fifty thousand gold coins from the slave establishment," Olivia interjected, her voice dripping with disdain.

"She's just a slave. He's just trying to escape responsibilities," Olivia says with a sneer. Declan shoots her a glare.

"You don't know what you're talking about," he retorts sharply.

"Really, Declan? Is that what you're going with?" Olivia continues, undeterred. "Donovan has been—" She's interrupted by a nudge from Donovan Beaumont, the youngest son of the Supreme Alpha. Olivia falls silent, but a smirk remains on her lips. "Donovan knows where you went. It's a good thing we Lycans have this mindlink thing." She turns to Allegra, her tone dripping with scorn. "And to think a lowly slave sits beside the sons of the Beaumont family." With swift movements, Olivia stands and strides over to Allegra's side, pulling her up with such force that Allegra stumbles backwards. Olivia stands tall, her hand planted firmly on her hip. "You belong in the ground, away from this lavish lifestyle." She pulls Allegra's hair and forces her to face her. "Declan is known to fuck hard. He just wants a taste of you down there… he's not going to give you any attention so.." she pushes Allegra aside the force so great she hits her head on the wall. She groans in pain, blood trickling down her forehead. "Back off!" Olivia smiling triumphantly.

Dante turns to Declan, "Did you? Did you really?" He places a hand on his shoulder.

Declan clenches his fists under the table.

Allegra touches her temple, feeling the warmth of the blood on her fingers. Enough is enough. She's had it with the slaps and taunts from Olivia. With a determined look on her face, she snaps her head towards Olivia, her hands clenched into fists. Closing her eyes, she focuses on finding that tether of fire, no matter how dim it may be. She latches onto the mental string, honing in on the heart of the flame, and begs it to grow just this once to teach Olivia a lesson. Gradually, the flame glows brighter and brighter as Allegra breathes in deeply. When she opens her eyes, Olivia steps back, a flicker of fear in her eyes.

As Allegra's eyes changed to a fiery yellow, flames danced within them, casting an intimidating glow. With only the table behind her, Olivia was trapped, her eyes widening in fear. Tendrils of fire slithered across Allegra's skin as she prowled closer to Olivia, her gaze fixed on the girl's gown. Raising her hand, she pointed a finger at Lady Wellington, and in an instant, her gown set ablaze. Olivia snarled, panic evident in her actions as she threw cutleries at Allegra, only for them to melt before they reached her. Everyone in the room stood awestruck at the unfolding drama.

Amidst Olivia's screams of pain and cries of fear, Allegra's voice cut through the chaos. "Stop," she commanded, and the flames disappeared, leaving Olivia unscathed. However, Allegra wasn't finished yet. "Her legs," she ordered, and the tendrils of fire obeyed, crawling towards Olivia's legs. Olivia fell to the ground, begging for mercy as the flames neared. "Stop," Allegra commanded once more, and the tendrils retreated back to her. But she wasn't done yet. "Burn her palms," she instructed, and once again, the flames obeyed, crawling towards Olivia's palms as she screamed in agony, her makeup ruined with sweat and tears.

Finally, Allegra intervened, commanding the flames to stop, and they obeyed, leaving Olivia's palms burnt. The room fell silent, the tension thick in the air, as everyone watched the spectacle unfold.

Apologies for the misunderstanding. Let's revise the scene to align more closely with your instructions:

Olivia cries out in pain as she attempts to heal herself, but her skin refuses to regenerate. The flames disappear, leaving Allegra feeling weakened, but she knows she can't afford to pass out here. "I'll be back," she manages to say before she exits the room, her senses on high alert.

Desperation gnaws at her as she searches for a solution. Blood. She needs blood, or she'll succumb to her primal instincts. She walks into the closest room she finds and shuts the door sliding to the floor. As she hears footsteps approaching, Allegra tenses, prepared to attack anyone who enters.

The door creaks open, and Allegra steps out of the shadows, her claws and fangs bared in a threatening display. The person who entered the room quickly assesses the situation, recognizing Allegra's defensive stance. With a swift movement, he pins her to the wall, holding her hands firmly above her head. Despite her snarls, he maintains a calm demeanor, his gaze locking onto hers with an intensity that demands attention. Gradually, Allegra's aggression ebbs away as she realizes she's not facing an enemy. The scent of the intoxicating elixir wafts from him, a heady blend of rich coffee, blood, and sweat, enveloping Allegra's senses in a tantalizing haze.

Her eyes flare red as she latches onto the tether of her humanity, locking gazes with the cold and distant eyes of the Alpha's youngest son. Donovan's touch sends sparks trailing in its wake as he traces Allegra's face with his free hand, his movements deliberate and enticing. Leaning closer, his breath brushes against her skin, his voice a low murmur in the quiet room.

"I know you're hungry," he pauses, his tone laden with understanding. "Not for shit they serve... but for blood."

He releases her hands from his strong grip, allowing them to fall to her sides as he places his own hands on either side of the wall, effectively trapping her between his arms. Turning his head slightly, he leans forward, his neck exposed and vulnerable.

"Bite me," he whispers, his voice carrying a weight of invitation and anticipation.
