Chapter 32 - Chapter 32

The dwarves had blocked the spears while the elves had nimbly dodged the attacks with ease. But the spears did not stop. A large barrage of bone spears all flew towards the dwarves and elves.

"Who are they?" Someone muttered. Still pretty new to this.

"Those are the dwarves which reside within the dungeon in America, and those elves live in the dungeon is South Korea. Thing is, elves are not friendly towards humans or dwarves. It seems they are putting aside their differences for the greater good." A dungeoneer police had said. He had been to the dungeon three times before he left. But he had barely managed to develop a core. And that core is yelling at him the dangers the dwarves and elves pose to him if they were to get violent. They were strong, so much more so than them and the heroes with them.

"Should we help them?" Another person asked. Not sure as to what to do.

"No, we can only provide some cover for them. But other than that, we can not keep up with them." One of the police said, he could barely even see the battle scene before him. The dwarves move with power in each step, it was like an elephant plowing through a crowd. And elves move with such speed he could barely make out where they were.

If they tried to get into the front lines they would die.

The lich was watching as the undead it had summoned were being mowed down like wheat before a farmer's scythe. Barely able to put up much resistance.

It raised an arm and from it a magic circle had appeared. It spun and shone before light appeared from the magic circle. When the lights had dimmed they could see three large undead ogres.

The lich then just raised its hands and pointed towards the dwarves charging towards it.

The undead ogres understood and had charged forward. They did stomp on their own allies but they weren't worth much as they were only used as cannon fodder. Just to make up numbers.

The first of the ogres had raised its fists and formed a hammer before it slammed the fists down. It created a large explosion of dust and debris.

"Elves, help cover for us, we will charge to the lich!" The leading dwarf shouted. He quickly made some hand gestures and the team of dwarves had split into two. Half with the ogres and the other were charging towards the lich.

The elves had heard it. They then started to bombard the ogres with arrows. Each arrow would rip the air and pierce the skin. And not just ordinary arrows but arrows of flames, water, wind, lightning, and all other elements had been unleashed upon the undead ogres.

The dwarves were leading them around and were attacking as well. Breaking the bones of the ogres. The constant attack from the two teams quickly had the ogres killed again. The dwarves had them tried to regroup while the elves helped cover for them. Their spells and arrows greatly reduced the strain the dwarves had to deal with.

A spell had landed onto the lich but it shrugged it off.

It raised its hands again and from it a large skeletal drahon appeared. It was not made of dragon bones but ordinary bones fused and molded into the shape of a skeletal dragon. But it was not to be underestimate.

It raised its claws and swiped down. Luckily the dwarves had dodged out of the way and had been safe from the attack.

The skeletal dragon had seen this and had charged forward towards the dwarves. It had once again raised its claws and attempted to slice them into pieces. But it wouldn't work, it only work against mindless beasts that could only charge forward. But for intelligent races, they knew to dodge.

After the swipe was done. The elves had then bombarded the skeletal dragon with arrows and spells. The spells slowly helped chip away at the skeletal dragon. The surface bones were destroyed and were chipped off. But it was thick, and had more layers over that.

The dwarves had used their hammers and had struck the limbs of the skeletal dragon and had much more success in that then the elves. Their hammers easily broke the bones off.

The elves understood and rather then spending time trying to destroy the skeletal dragon, had started to pick the other Undeads that were starting to march towards the dwarves.

The dwarves were slowly destroying the skeletal dragon while the elves took care of the undead charging towards the dwarves. A solid plan, both taking care of the ones they can deal with.

But the lich simply raised its hand and a large black mist covered the undead, and suddenly the undead were much stronger. Charging forward with great strength they did no previously have.

The dwarves were starting to get overwhelmed when help came.

A dozen slashes appeared and the undead were diced into pieces. One look and people were surprised. It were the beastmen. A large group of beastmen with a lioness woman at the front, she carried a large bastard sword like it was a simple long sword. And with a swing of her blade a dozen undead were destroyed. The beastmen soon made way for a single person. They had a robe covering their body, but not the suspicious type but more like the robes of a priest. They had their hands clasped. They walked over to the front and they then kneeled onto the ground, and from him a light appeared.

At first it was a small light, barely better than a candle. But it soon grew. Getting larger and larger, brighter and brighter. It enveloped the undead, beastmen, and the dwarves.

For the undead they would screech, turning into ash as they were engulfed in the light. But for the beastmen and the dwarves, they were instead buffed. Their bodies were now much stronger and more powerful. Their wounds which littered their bodies were now gone.

"Thanks, we really needed that." The leading dwarf thanked the beastmen.

"Don't thank us just yet you shorty!" The lioness said before she jumped to the side along with the other beastmen as the skeletal dragon tried to crush them under its paws.
