TAEHYUNG'S POV:
After meeting everyone, I was so overwhelmed. I really never knew what my father was, but today gave me a glimpse of what a great man he was. I felt proud to call myself his son, I was always though.
We had our dinner and came back to our respective room. Soobin and Jimin stayed in my room as per the plan. I had a shower and came back into the living room. I sat in between Jimin and Soobin and rest my head on Soobin's shoulder and sighed.
"Hyung, you alright? Why are you sighing?" Soobin asked.
"Taetae, are you tired? I know we haven't done anything physical to get tired out, but today was actually emotionally tiring. Why don't you sleep early?" Jimin asked me.
"I'm not sleepy. Yes, I am mentally tired. I mean I learnt so many things about my Dad today. I was always proud of him, but today I am more. But then, I had to be cautious whole time, not to give away my identity. And it was draining my energy. I couldn't be myself." I told them both.
"Well, you can talk to us, you know that.." Jimin told me patting my thigh.
"Yes, hyung, I have been with you for quite long now. But I was with the KIMS for as long as I can remember. Also my parents worked for your father, so they do tell me things. Therefore, I can say that you can talk to me to. Well, even if I don't understand, that will help you vent out your feelings." Soobin told me and I was shocked at the level of maturity he showed just now.
I looked at Jimin and then we both looked at Soobin, who was confused by now.
"What happened? Did I say something wrong?" He asked nervously.
"Don't be nervous. We are just surprised at how mature you are at this age. I mean you have to enjoy life." Jimin told him.
"Well, I work the KIMS, I am my hyung's assistant, but also his guard first. If I enjoy and don't be strict with myself, someday he will get killed and I would do nothing but sit and wait for my death." He told us and we both slapped our foreheads.
"My baby, I absolutely am in love with you now. But since I have Jungkook, I will let you go." I joked with him and he turned red as potato.
"Hyung, how can you tease me like this?" He was shy and covered his face.
We were laughing at him just then my phone rang. And the name on the call made me stop laughing. Seeing me so serious suddenly, Jimin and Soobin stopped laughing. Jimin signalled asking who it was. I showed him the ID.
"Why is he calling you?" Jimin asked me.
"You know what, this seems serious. Because, it's me who calls them, they are not allowed to call me. I will take this call. Be quiet." I told them and they agreed.
"Bogum?" I said receiving the call.
"Master, there is a problem. Can we meet now?" He asked me and that question alone made me worry now.
"Well, you must know where I am? It's difficult here. It's my first time, so I have no idea about anything." I explained to him.
"Taehyung-ah, we were trained by you. And we have been training with so many Master Assassins. Do you really underestimate us?" He was annoyed I know.
"Bogum, I know your strengths, but I am just worried about your safety. That's it." I told him.
"Well, open your window." He told me and I almost dropped my phone.
"What?????" I almost yelled and ran to the window and opened it.
"Master, sorry, but it's important." Bogum said and jumped in the room along with 2 other boys.
"Jimin, lock the door. Quick." I ordered Jimin and he ran.
I closed the window and came back and made them sit and drink water first. They obviously ran here.
"How did you guys come here? Were you noticed? Don't expose yourselves here. I won't be able to help you yet." I was worried.
"Listen. As you told us, we did investigate everyone you gave us on the list. But this particular person named Jaemin, has been in contact with the Russian Mafia. We tapped his calls and found out that a big consignment that is being prepared right now at the Arms and Ammunitions warehouse, will be transferred to them." Bogum explained to me and one of the boy showed me the recording which they got.
"Hyung, but that consignment is for THE JEONS. Isn't it?" Soobin asked me and I nodded.
"Well, get my laptop, password is your birthdate. Check if we have any other consignments at A&A which were signed before me, I mean, by Yoona aunt or Joon uncle and were pending.. Because, if it's just THE JEONS, they won't do anything. They know best not to cross the JEONS at least now that they have JK on their side." I told Soobin and he got on it quickly.
"Alright, how will you go-" I was about to ask and suddenly there was a heavy knocking on my door.
"Master, Master, open the door." Elijah's voice.
"Master, open the door." Namjoon hyung, Jin hyung.
"Master, the guards saw 3 people jumping into your room, open the door." It was my aunt.
"Shit!" I cursed.
"I am fine. There's nobody in here." I yelled, but coughed later, because all were told I wasn't well.
"Let all the guards go back. Only Yoona, Elijah, Namjoon, Jin enter the room." I told them and I told Jimin to open the door.
"Tae-" My aunt said and she stopped as soon as she saw Bogum.
"It's ok. They're here for me. They work for me. Something is wrong at the company and it was urgent." I told them.
"But, isn't he a part of-" Namjoon hyung said and I nodded.
"What's with the secrets Yoona?" Elijah asked and we all looked at him.
"Grandpa, I will explain you. Just like my father, I have a identity apart from being just the owner or heir to the KIMS EMPIRE and THE LAIR. And these people work for me. The things I can't do in light, they do it for me in dark. They are brutally trained Assassins. Hunters. Have you heard of them? I am-" I was interrupted while I was explaining.
"Tiger?" He asked and my eyes went wide.
"How?" I asked him.
"I just guessed. I have heard about them. I never saw one. I also heard about the incident at JK's mansion. And then at the KIMS mansion. But because of certain someone you couldn't lie, and your identity got exposed, but that's fine, since it was all family. JEONS are allies we can trust. But the JEONS should never know that your father was the DRAGON, or that now you are the new DRAGON." Elijah explained to me and I nodded.
"I promise." I assured him.
"About us? We will die, but never out our master in danger. He's precious." The boys who came along with Boogie said.
"Well, well, Taehyung. You the sole owner of the KIMS EMPIRE, TIGER of HUNTERs, the ONLY LOVE of JK and Jungkook as well and now the DRAGON of THE DRAGON's LAIR. Wait, DRAGON???? Doesn't that make you the Supreme Lord of Mafias?" Boogie was shocked.
"Absolutely right." Elijah said and all of them bowed to me.
"Yoona, it's time for our next move. I will find one body and we will declare, that DRAGON is dead, but his son is taking over now. Also you, and these 4 kids will have to hide your identities, just like before. I have things and identities ready for all." Elijah said and he and my aunt left.
"Taehyung-ah, a big day tomorrow, sleep early." Jin hyung said giving me a hug.
"Good-night." Namjoon hyung said and they both left.
"Boss, I found out. There are 2 more consignments. One was for the Military and other was for the air force. And their due date is next week." Soobin told me.
"Bogum, you know what to do. Meet the Commanders-in-Chiefs of both forces in these 2 days. And tell them you come on behalf of KIM TAEHYUNG. If required I will do a video conference with both of them together. These traitors of our country should be punished." I told them and they all left.
"This is going to be a roller coaster for all of us. Especially this whole week." Jimin said to me.
"Mainly because of your identities, hyung. It's going to be a huge identity crisis if one day you forget your place and say something somewhere you shouldn't." He was right about this one.
"I know. But I also know I have you guys." I told them and we all did a group hug.
