I see Las Vegas as a glamorous paradise where the lights never go out and every moment is a celebration. Here lies one of the most world-famous multi-national technology companies. It is the company where I will be working as an assistant to the CEO of NeonTech Entertainment. Before starting my own business after graduation, I wanted to witness a CEO in his office.
The one catch is that the CEO is always on the go and has a reputation for being unpredictable. Nobody has seen him since his ex-assistant, whom his dad fired for having an affair in the workplace. I am not the kind to become involved in such matters for my benefit, so there's no need to feel concerned about that. No one has to know that I am secure and wealthy to check my credentials for the job.
I was at the Neon Dream Lounge, a futuristic neon club with holographic performers. I'm in the middle of the dance floor, moving to the rhythm of the music, with an Ono Cocktail in my hand that costs about 10k. Turning around, I see a dashing guy chatting with his pals while I go on entertaining myself. In his stylish blue suit, he stands out from the crowd. His brown eyes sparkle with a mix of friendliness and mischief. His well-groomed goatee and stylish dark hair exude a sophisticated charm.
I left the dance floor, put my glass on a table, and considered approaching the wealthy-looking man. My shimmering dress accentuates my curves and catches the light as I dance. Gathering my confidence, I approach the table where he stands. As he senses my approach, he turns his gaze towards me, wearing a smirk. My heart skips a beat, but I remind myself that I am not one to shy away from taking chances.
As I get closer, he stands before me, towering over my 5'6" height with his 6'1" frame. "Excuse me, but you dropped something: my jaw," he says with a playful tone. I can't help but laugh inside at his cheesy flirting line, but I appreciate the effort. "I decide to respond with equal playfulness while thinking." "Well, I hope you're not too clumsy because I can't have you dropping your jaw every time I walk by," I say, winking at him. With a twinkle in his eye, he responds, "I'll do my best not to be surprised next time, as long as you keep dazzling me."." I can't help but smile and reply, "Trust me, I plan on keeping you dazzled for a long time to come."
The effects of the booze start to kick in before we can go on with our conversation, and everything goes dark.

"As I woke up to a blinding light, I noticed bite marks on my arms and legs. Feeling shaken, I rushed home to prepare for my first day at NeonTech Entertainment.
I can't believe I ended up doing dishes, putting on makeup, throwing my hair into a messy ponytail, and dressing up. I am headed to an empty room to meet my unpredictable boss in the elevator. Exiting the elevator, I saw the boss's chair turned away from the window, a sign of unauthorized entry.
Anxious to meet my new boss, I rush into his office and open the door. To my surprise, I hear a familiar deep voice saying, "Nyla Jenkins, nice to see you again, with clothes on this time." As soon as he turns around, my heart sinks. It's the same man I met at the club and shared flirty moments with. I can't help but wonder how this will impact our professional relationship.
