Kingdom of Amber, Fort of Jaipur, few days back on 12th march 1557.
Havildar Tanuj from Marwar faction was given one mission before the start of the battle. Just like many other havildar ranks, he was assigned to handle his 10-man unit of militia to put the raft of pallisade logs to fill the gap of the moat or die trying.
Throughout the march, he passed through unimaginable dangers. He watched as his comrades were torn to shreds by cannon shots. The air grew heavy with the scent of gunpowder and the cries of people, but he pressed on, knowing well there was no going back.
To make matters worse, the hail of giant stones unfurled upon them. It exploded upon impact, and its debris caused massive damage. One such giant stone arched in his direction, and Tanuj narrowly escaped death when this massive boulder crushed the group beside him.
