CHAPTER 27:
BRYAN'S POV:
It's already 6:30 in the evening, Sapphire is cooking in the kitchen while I make my plan for tonight's attack.
"Bryan! Come on, the food is - - - " I stood up quickly when I heard the front door bang open. I immediately ran from the balcony of the 2nd floor to the 1st floor to check on Sapphire.
"G-g-good evening p-po..." I frowned when I heard Sapphire said that as I ran from the stairs and to the door, and stood my father together with my step mother...oh the demon couple.
"Son! Who is this girl?" My father asked sarcastically as he walked towards me ignoring Sapphire.
"None of your business. What are you doing here?" I asked coldly as I walk past him and hug Sapphire who was bowing before.
"After 3 years that we didn't see each other! Is that how you talk to your father?!!" The old man shouted angrily as I rolled my eyes. Those three years were the happiest years of my life, because I don't have the father who beat me for a small matter, who never loved me and the father who k*lled my mother right in front of my eyes.
"I don't have time for this, get out" I snapped, but I suddenly felt Sapphire's hold in my arms.
"You're telling your father to get out?!! How dare you - - "
"Honey...enough, we didn't come here to argue with Bryan" Amanda, my step mother said sweetly, tss.
"Right, so who's that girl?" Dad asked again and I felt Sapphire tensed beside me but she stepped forward bravely.
"Hello sir, my name is Sapphire Nhyelle Bazeler" she boldly introduced herself, but I didn't notice Dad's frown.
"Bazeler? Are you the daughter of Edward Bazeler and Sophia Bazeler?" Now, I'm getting confused. How did he know about that?! And why is his face turning so pale?!
"Y-yes sir, do you know them?" Her eyes show hope and happiness as asked that.
"N-no! I don't know them!" He yelled nervously as he ran out of the house with Amanda chasing behind.
'What the h*ck was that?!!'
"I-I miss them...they di*d from car crash and - - " I hugged her again when she started sobbing.
"I'm here kitten...please don't cry...it'll affect our baby" I said softly...I won't let it go- -
