Chapter 60 - Scrolls & Whoops?

Staring at the two scrolls sitting across her lap, Naruko would slowly unfurl for the first one. 'It's exactly what I thought. The fully updated Hirashin. All it's related Jutsu, combinations, various versions, and the like. As well as multiple ideas Dad was working on. The 2nd Namikaze scroll had a bit of a proto-Hirashin but this...' Looking through them, and specifically at the few ideas her eyes would narrow. 'This is insane. The theories and possibilities... But this last theory...'

She took a deep breath and sealed the scroll up. 'If I can complete that, no one would be my match. Not Bee. Not Nagato. Not Hashirama. Not even the Otsutsuki, if I keep up my training that is...'

-Kushina Shard-

'No Kushina, the Hirashin DOESN'T include any Time-elements. I promise! No Kushina, of course, we shouldn't make Time Jutsu, they should be forbidden! Filthy liar! Filthy filthy filthy filthy liar! That last version he was trying to make clearly makes it a true Time-Space Ninjutsu! When I get out of here, I'm gonna beat your ass, you flaky little liar!'

-Naruko-

Opening up the Uzumaki scroll her breath would catch. 'The highest possible levels of Kenjutsu and Water Style are here. That's to be expected. There's also a bloodline section. As well as Fuinjutsu but... Soul Manipulation? Shinigami Jutsu? What the hell is 'Wave Style'?!?'

-Minato Shard-

'She promised that the Reaper Death Seal was it! Kushina also promised that she would remove everything related to the soul. Bu-' His head hung. 'Dangit Kushina. I thought we agreed that the Shinobi world didn't need them and that they would die with us?' Minato sighed. 'I should have known she'd do this. She never agrees with me on anything...' He pouted slightly, 'At least Naruko is on board with me!'

-Naruko-

'No one can know a lot of this exists... BUT IT'S SO FUCKING COOL!' With a grin on her face, she slowly began to peruse it. 'So Water Jutsu, Kenjutsu, Bloodline Stuff, Fuinjutsu, and Hirashin. I can save the other stuff for much, much later. Except I need to still have clones on the first and second Uzumaki scrolls for Fuinjutsu...' Doing some math in her head, Naruko would eventually grimace. 'It's possible. I'm just going to need to take actual vacations occasionally. Alrighty.'

Standing up and pocketing both of the scrolls she'd begin to walk out, 'I should probably tell the ANBU I'm all good.'

-

Needless to say, the ANBU wasn't happy with their charge missing. 'Hah! Then they shoulda broken in. Donkey still exudes 'newbie' energy.'

-The next day-

"Alright team, you all sent in your written reports."

"Yes, Sensei!"

"Yes, Sensei."

"I wanted to go over it with you first, Sensei."

Nodding Naruko kept a smile on her face. "Alright. Sai and Sasuke, you're officially on recovery leave for the next five days. It's mandatory, and as such we won't be meeting till then as a team. At some point, I'll check on you however. Sakura, sit down, we can go over the mission."

She had half expected Sasuke to grumble or glare at the mandatory leave, but he seemed somewhat... relieved. 'Mhm... when I see Kakashi next I should send him towards Sasuke. The Sharingan affects emotions, right? He must be struggling with that and killing someone. I'm not really the best for... that talk. I'd also rather not have to get one of Danzo's stooges to deal with it. I'm not even sure if they're actual Uchiha.'

Getting out of her head Naruko would sit down on the grass. "Alright Sakura, sit down and tell me what you need help with."

-Later that day-

"Now?!?" Staring up at Gramps who had appeared in her designated training ground with a bit of shock, he would simply nod with a smile on his face.

"Indeed, Enma is quite impatient now that he knows you're a Jonin. He's been insisting you sign the contract already."

Blinking rapidly at him for a few moments, Naruko would eventually nod. "Alright, pass it on over Gramps." He did so, unfurling the scroll to the point where there was an empty space, and just the name 'Hiruzen Sarutobi' could be seen. 'He doesn't want me to know about the past summoners? Interesting...'  Plucking a kunai across her left hand, she dipped her right pointer finger in the pooling blood, and slowly began to write her name across the scroll.

"So, just do the Jutsu?"

"Yes, we'll see what you summon and go from there."

Nodding her head Naruko would go through the handseals. Boar. Dog. Bird. Monkey. Ram. "Summoning Jutsu!" Slamming her hands on the ground and pouring chakra into it, with a titanic bloom of smoke, Naruko would disappear.

Hiruzen would blink. The remaining Naruko clones would look over, shocked themselves. "Gramps, is that supposed to happen?"

"No, no it's not." One of the clones walked on over looking at the scroll confused, before she paused.

"Aah.... Whoops?" Staring down at the scroll her mouth would start twitching.

There was a sigh as Gramps looked at her. "What did you do?"

She would shrug, "Hey! It wasn't me, blame the original y'know. But uh, technically speaking the name of a person is who they recognize themselves as. Orochimaru would sign as Orochimaru, not whatever his last name is. The thing is I signed it as Naruko Uzumaki when in reality..."

He sighed shoulders slumping. "You should have signed it as Naruko Namikaze. I see."

She hummed. "Whoops?" 'Could be that. Could be other things... I'm sure main me will figure it out.'

"Let's just hope you didn't summon yourself to a summoning land that is particularly... hostile." Having said that he would lean against a tree with a groan.

-Main Naruko, right after Summoning-

"Daughter, why is thou here?"

Staring at the hovering horned man in front of her who bore the Rinnegan in both of his eyes, Naruko had a full-body twitch. "I'm not that bad at summoning Jutsu, am I?"

Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths. Saviour of the world. Founder of Ninshu. The man who gave the world Chakra... He let out a sigh before facepalming. Behind her, a loud groan escaped from a mountain-sized fox.
