Chapter 4 - Summoning contract!

To be honest although Kanshuda had called the little pinkish white salamander his buddy. He still wouldn't hesitate to experiment on its kind; moreover the contract he had signed with it was not one of equals but rather master and servant. That didn't mean that Kanshuda would treat it as a slave but it was just insurance in case it was ever uncooperative or got persuade by some blonde kids talk no jutsu.

Kanshuda was fully aware that their has been no instance of a summoning beast betraying its master. However he was concerned whether that fact would still hold true if he started to mess with its genetics, and that of other axolotls including its kin and offspring. After all if he wanted to enhance, fix and change his summoning beasts genetics he had to first test it on another of its species to make sure it was safe to do so. And unlike Orochimaru who had a massive supply of snakes since he signed his summoning contract with Ryuchi cave. Kanshuda had signed the contract with this Axolotl specifically meaning he would only be able to control it, its offsprings and whatever else it had authority over.

Kanshuda stretched out his other hand and patted the little pink salamander beginning to inject some of his chakra into him. "Little Axolotl don't worry I will feed you with some of my chakra every day until you are big enough to hunt for yourselves. Then you yourselves can extract chakra from the animals you eat. For now just go back and try finding other axolotls to join our cause." The little pink axolotl nodded its head and began to make its way to the shore of the lake.

Just as it was about fully submerge itself into the water, Kanshuda called it back. "Wait little pink, their is one thing I forgot, I need to give you a name after all I can't just always call you little pink. From now on I will call you Anubis in hopes that you will become a reaper on the battlefield. Kanshuda then went on to let Anubis go back to its habitat not worried that he would loose it now since he could always summon it back and feel its rough location when he was near it due to the summoning contract.

For the next month Kanshuda followed a strict routine of checking up on Anubis in the morning, going to class and than coming home to exercise and practice his chakra control with the leaf meditation exercise. Quickly within the month he mastered the leaf meditation exercise now being able to keep the leaf sticking to his forehead until his chakra run out. So Kanshuda then switched to practicing tree climbing and later water walking exercise.

The months long training had increased his chakra and to that of a Chunin he estimated. However he could now feel the rate at which his chakra increased to be gradually slowing down day by day. Kanshuda clenched his fist feeling powerless. "This must be my genetic limit I guess, no wonder my parents could only becoming Chunin despite being adults! Although my chakra will increase as I grow older and go through puberty. The best I can hope for is the chakra of a special Jonin. Any more than that would be impossible with my current bodies genetics.

Kanshuda then turned his head to the lake and called out "Anubis!" Responding to his call the calm body of water began to show ripples followed by a pillar of water that rose and unveiled the body body of 7 meter Axolotl! As it made its way towards land one couldn't help but notice the soft pink padding beneath it four legs, that negated the sounded of any of its footsteps despite its legs being as thick as a grown man's waist. The pink beasts gaping maw which although now looked cute when opened held the potential to suck in all its prey and the swooshing 3 meters long tail which it held, raised ready to strike down at any moment.

In spite of its size and poised body its soft pink flesh betrayed it as an easy prey for any competent beast or ninja. Something Kanshuda planed to fix when he had the necessary genes and equipment. "Have you found any traces of a scroll?" Kanshuda asked Anubis having predicted that after Kakuzu stole the earth grudge fear technique that their might be some traces left of the original kenjutsu in the village. After all how could any village only have one copy?

In reply a childish voiced came out "Mashter Anubis didn't found scroll but me find a hole!" Anubis had now begun to speak though childish as it was, he was now able to convey intel. "Well show me the way, Anubis.. to this hole" "Yes mashter" Anubis replied and off the two went trudging of into the lake.
