Chapter 1 - Late again...

"Master Rohan, Master Rohan, master Rohan Lord Cale is waiting for you for breakfast"

He looked like a butler was lightly shaking a young black-haired man who was sleeping ungracefully.

"Let me sleep a little more"

I said trying to settle down to continue sleeping.

The butler, seeing that the young master did not wake up, went to the bathroom and brought a glass of water.

He spontaneously poured the glass on the sleeping Rohan's face.

"What the hell have they?"

I said to cough up the little water that had entered my nose.

"Young master, his father is waiting for you for breakfast with his mother and his sister."

'Damn'

I quickly got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.

"Why didn't you wake me up sooner Hans!"

I said annoyed from the bathroom.

"I left his clothes ready in his closet."

Hans said, completely ignoring Rohan.

I quickly showered and dressed to go eat with my family member.

I tried to fix the collar of my shirt as I walked.

'stupid outfit stupid morning stupid family meal'

'Couldn't they just let me sleep?'

Finally I arrived at the dining room, enduring the irritation caused by my shirt collar.

As I sat down I noticed my father's slightly annoyed expression.

My father is generally a person with few facial expressions so there is rarely any hint of emotion on his face.

But when you see some emotion it means that that emotion is very intense.

An awkward silence fell as I sat down.

"I don't know why but I still hope that for once you'll be on time for breakfast."

My father spoke, slightly disappointed.

Hearing it, I sighed inwardly with relief.

'Well he's not angry, he's just disappointed.'

'I can work with that'

"I'm sorry dad"

I said sadly.

Again silence came to the table.

Until finally someone broke the silence.

"Is it really that hard to wake up at 10?"

I looked at my sister.

'Of course it will seem easy to you if you get up before dawn just to get ready.'

"Well, not everyone has a biological clock as good as yours, Catalina."

Catalina looked at me with some apathy.

'she honestly doesn't surprise me, she's just a teenager at 13, she's very capricious and immature for now'

Hypocrisy at its finest.

"How did you sleep today honey?"

My mother said with a soft smile on her face.

When I was about to respond my father spoke.

"Amelia, how do you think he slept if he was late for breakfast?"

My father said scathingly.

When he was going to speak to try to reply, my father finished his breakfast and got up from the table.

"Rohan, Catalina, prepare your bags."

'That because?'

"They will go to Noctis City to take the imperial followers exam."

'And shit'
