After the sudden visit of the Emperor, Madeleine did not wake up. The invitation letters were piled up on her table and not a single letter was answered.
Haisley had a heavy heart as she left the manor. She was needed back at her home because of her mother's birthday and even though her mother requested that she bring Madeleine, she made an excuse.
