Led by various officers, countless marines surged toward Lodestar Island.
Even with their overwhelming numbers, the marines weren't arrogant enough to think this would be an easy victory.
After all, among the remaining pirates were remnants of the Big Mom Pirates, members of the Whitebeard Pirates, remnants of the Beasts Pirates, as well as powerful figures like Crocodile, Weevil, and Doflamingo.
They were headed for a fierce battle!
Despite this, nearly 100,000 marines still marched resolutely toward the interior of the island.
Ordinary pirates would be paralyzed with fear at the sight of such a force.

Thanks to their overwhelming numbers, the marines swiftly wiped out most of the pirates. However, the stronger pirates were not so easily defeated.
Several powerful pirates even managed to carve out paths through the marines' ranks.

Doflamingo manipulated dozens of marines with his strings, using them as a shield as he spoke to Vice Admiral Dalmatian not far away.
Dalmatian's scarred face grew cold as he looked at the controlled marines.
"Doflamingo, you attacked the marines first! As a Shichibukai, you failed to fulfill your duties!"
With that, Dalmatian suddenly swung his sword, unleashing a sharp crescent-shaped slash towards the marines above.
"Tch, how cunning."
Doflamingo glanced at the incoming slash but made no move to stop it.
As the slash passed by, invisible strings appeared in the air, then vanished.
In the next moment, the marines who had been controlled broke free of their restraints.
"I have no intention of fighting the marines. Consider this a gesture of goodwill. Besides…"
Doflamingo pointed at a towering sandstorm in the distance and smirked, "If you don't stop Crocodile, I'm afraid you marines are in for some heavy losses."
After speaking, Doflamingo used his strings to pull himself out of the marines' encirclement.
Meanwhile, flames continued to spread across the battlefield under Ace's control.
Thanks to the flames and the strength of the Whitebeard Pirates, they were rapidly approaching the site where Whitebeard and Kaido had clashed.
The marines, aware that Whitebeard and Kaido might not be in great shape, also allocated significant forces to advance towards their battleground.

The next second, a figure shining with a diamond-like luster barreled through, smashing the dozens of Pacifistas to pieces.
