Chapter 495 - Bad news!

Moments later, Sengoku hung up the phone with a grim expression.

"Kizaru, go to EndPoint. Zephyr is heading there."

Sengoku looked at Kizaru after hanging up the phone. When the name EndPoint was mentioned, everyone in the office frowned, except for one young person who still looked confused.

"Oh~ EndPoint? What's Zephyr doing there?" Kizaru asked curiously.

"We're not sure yet, but according to reports from the surveillance ship, Zephyr's destination is that island!" Sengoku said, frowning and pondering why Zephyr would go to EndPoint.

Kizaru sighed, stood up from the sofa, and said, "Alright, alright, I'll go. Staying at headquarters really is a runner's job."

He got up and walked out. Outside, Kizaru looked up at the clear, sunny sky and clicked his tongue, "Zephyr, what are you doing at EndPoint? Is there something you want there?"

Kizaru knew some things about Zephyr, but sometimes when people go through a lot, they have all sorts of complicated thoughts. "I hope it's not what I'm thinking," he muttered.

"Admiral Kizaru!" A marine ran over, handing him a permanent pointer. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku ordered me to give you this. The branch in the New World has prepared a ship. Please act quickly!"

"Got it, got it," Kizaru said, taking the permanent pointer. He then transformed into a beam of light and flew towards the horizon.

"EndPoint?" Sabo repeated the word, clearly having never heard of the place before. Garp explained seriously, "EndPoint consists of three islands. If these three terminal islands are destroyed, the entire geological structure of the New World will become unstable, causing all the undersea volcanoes to erupt and potentially leading to the destruction of the New World."

Sabo was shocked by Garp's explanation. "What!?" He couldn't believe that three islands could destroy the New World.

"Don't listen to Garp's nonsense. That's just what some experts concluded. No one really knows for sure. It's exaggerated to say that the fate of the New World depends on these three islands. Just like how people say Whitebeard can destroy the world, but has he destroyed it?" Tsuru said with a smile.

If EndPoint's three islands could really destroy the New World, the World Government wouldn't leave them alone. The truth is, one of these islands has a marine base, one is a town, and the other is deserted.

On the EndPoint island with the marine base, on the shoreline, many marines gathered and charged towards the sea. A marine captain in a cape shouted, "Stop them from landing!"

On the other side, soldiers in black uniforms and steel helmets charged towards the shore, clashing with the marines. The sounds of battle filled the air.

Bang!

A moment later, the marine captain who had shouted earlier blocked an incoming sword strike with his own and yelled, "Hey, weren't you once a marine too? Why are you doing this?"

The soldier pressed his sword harder and replied, "Pirates in these seas can no longer be eradicated by normal means! We're doing this to restore peace!"

"You call this peace!?" the marine captain shouted. "Do you know what's on this island? Do you think destruction will bring peace?"

"Enough talk! I'll defeat you and eliminate all the pirates!" The two clashed again.

On the shore, a door on a modified warship opened, and a large number of NEO Marines poured out. Among them, a three-meter-tall figure gradually appeared, causing the marines on the beach to fall into despair.

"No way!"

"Zephyr-sensei, why are you doing this?"

"Zephyr-sensei!"

Thud!

Zephyr leaped from the warship and instantly charged into the marine ranks. His arms were wrapped in Armament Haki, and with each movement, he unleashed shockwaves that sent marines flying.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Distant marines raised their guns and fired bullets at him. Without even looking, Zephyr dodged the bullets and raised his Haki-coated fist, smashing it forward.

Boom!

The shockwave from his powerful strike knocked down the marines ahead.

Crash!

Zephyr blocked the weapon of a giant marine with his Armament Haki-coated arm. The giant's immense strength caused the ground beneath Zephyr's feet to sink noticeably.

Zephyr smirked, then forcefully disarmed the giant. He leaped up and punched the giant marine in the jaw with his Haki-covered fist.

"Armament Punch!"

Bang!

The giant marine groaned, spat out blood, and his eyes rolled back as his massive body fell backward.

With Zephyr's entry into the battle, the marines began to falter. Soon, Zephyr and his men reached the deepest part of the marine base.

Boom!

The steel door was smashed open with a single punch. Zephyr walked in and pulled out a transparent jar from a rack glowing with a purplish-red light.

"This is it..." Zephyr smiled as he looked at the Infernite Crystal in his hand. "With these, I can wipe out those guys."

"This is your goal, Zephyr-sensei?"

As they exited the marine base, a figure blocked their path.

"Admiral Kizaru!" the blue-haired woman beside Zephyr exclaimed.

Zephyr looked at Kizaru calmly and said, "I didn't expect it to be you, Borsalino. But given the time, you're the only one who could make it."

"Ah... No choice. Running errands is always my job. But Zephyr-sensei, you still haven't told me what you're planning."

Zephyr replied in a stern voice, "To eradicate the pirates!"

"Eradicate the pirates?" Kizaru frowned deeply. The long time in the New World had clearly changed Zephyr's mindset. But it made sense; anyone's mentality would change in such an environment over the years.

Moments later, Kizaru stood on the wrecked island, watching the retreating ship. He took out a Den Den Mushi and sighed.

"Borsalino, how did it go?" Sengoku asked.

"Sorry, I couldn't stop him," Kizaru replied. Before Sengoku could get angry, Kizaru continued, "From what I gathered from Zephyr-sensei, Kaido and Bullet have teamed up, with the World Government involved. Their target is the final island. Zephyr-sensei's aim in seizing the Infernite Crystal is to eliminate them all."

The message was brief but filled with shock.
