Chapter 1 - Prologue

I was currently inside a room on the second of Wagner's inn, it was a really small and old inn but the staff were generous enough to let me stay here for a low cost.

As I was enjoying my warm soup that I got from the innkeepers daughter, I thought to my self on how I got here..

I always wanted to do what was best for my party...but I never thought that my one stupid decision could ruin everything that I built..

I wonder where it all started, maybe it was when I first decided to become the leader dragon fall party, or maybe it was when I thought that all of my party members loved and respected me....or maybe it was when I kicked Leon out from my party.

Well, it doesn't matter now, because now I'm just with me, myself and this now not-so-warm soup.

The soup was bland but since it's free and I'm already living here for almost free, I don't think it's right for me to complain, so, I started adding different spices that I bought from the market in it, now it's not over the top dilecious but atleast it's not bland.

As I finished my soup, someone knocked on the door.

"It's open."

I answered as a beautiful girl with short brunette hair entered the room, it was none other than the person who took pity on me and gave me a place to stay, Wagner's daughter.

"Here, it's for you."

She said as she handed me some leftover steak, she's a really kind person.

"Thanks Michelle, as always."

I thanked her and after a long silence she replied.

"It's Claire you jerk."

After saying this, she stormed out.

I guess I'll have to try harder to remember her name...well for now.

".... I should probably focus on this steak instead."
