Candy and I inside, go straight to Zayn's study, shutting the door behind us. The room is dimly lit, the weight of our worries making the space feel even smaller.
"Why is Price here?"
I say, frustration evident in my voice.
"What is she trying to do with Lana?"
Candy shakes her head, her brow furrowed in thought.
"It's suspicious, no doubt. She just shows up out of nowhere, and now she's all chummy with Lana? Something's off."
I pace the room, trying to piece everything together.
"And now she's still asking about Chris. What if she's fishing for information? What if she's not who she says she is?"
Candy leans against the desk, her arms crossed.
"We need to keep a closer eye on her. We can't let our guard down, not with everything that's going on."
I nod, agreeing.
"We also need to talk to Lana. Make sure she knows what she's doing. We can't risk her getting caught up in something dangerous here."
