Candy and I arrive at Zayn's glass house. I will never get over this house but today I'll not admire anything here.
I can see his car. And a lot of other different cars , I can recognize some of them but Chris's isn't around.
As we step inside, the sleek modernity of the glass house envelops us. The guards usher us in with a nod, but the news of Zayn's absence is disheartening.
I exchange a glance with Candy, a silent question hanging between us: Where could they have gone?
As the guards inform us that Zayn and Chris left about twenty minutes ago, Candy's brows knit in concern.
"Did they say where they were headed?"
She presses, her voice steady but firm. I watch intently as the guard shifts, unease flashing across his face.
"They didn't specify, ma'am, just mentioned it was urgent."
His words send a shiver down my spine, the ambiguity unsettling.
"Can you at least tell us if they'll be back soon?"
