Jiang Xuxu spoke in an unhurried tone, her voice serious enough to stress her sincerity. Jiang Cheng was still clueless, but beside him, Jiang Han suddenly felt a chill running down his spine. Jiang Cheng didn't know, but Jiang Han had experienced it firsthand the night before and knew that Jiang Xuxu really had some abilities. Hearing Jiang Xuxu's words, which hinted that he should use his talisman early, basically suggested she was warning him to brace for some kind of "metaphysical event"! Recalling this, Jiang Han looked at Jiang Cheng with eyes full of sympathy. That's what you get for being sarcastic with her. Now, you have caught her attention, haven't you? He was also very relieved that he didn't speak up due to the bet. Seeing Jiang Han's sympathetic look, Jiang Cheng's face turned somewhat ugly. He had figured out the meaning behind Jiang Xuxu's words. But he felt that Jiang Xuxu was just trying to intimidate. "Jiang Xuxu, stop trying to scare everyone at home with that mysterious stuff of yours; I'm not falling for it," he retorted. "As you wish." Jiang Xuxu glanced at him and, not wanting to continue the futile entanglement, turned and went on her own to have breakfast in the dining room. As Jiang Suhu descended the stairs with his eyes still half closed and without looking at those in the living room, he headed straight for the dining room. Upon seeing Jiang Xuxu, his brain, which was still in a sleepy state, instantly snapped awake. With much excitement, he expressed how wonderful and helpful the silence talisman she gave him last night was. He had been gaming with the volume on until three in the morning. Even Uncle Ming couldn't hear any noise, nor did they come to prompt him to sleep. Looking at the dark circles under his eyes, Jiang Xuxu silently resolved to impose more restrictions when selling talismans to minors in the future. The minor in front of her was clearly the type that could harm himself with misuse. She didn't say anything to discourage him and just finished the porridge in front of her. Jiang Suhu didn't feel left out and asked her, "Sis, do you have any plans today? Are you going out?" He thought being with Jiang Xuxu for "upholding justice" outside was superb and wanted to accompany her again. "I'm not going out today," Jiang Xuxu shattered his illusion, "I'm staying at home to receive a delivery." Jiang Suhu: ?? A delivery requires her to stay at home? Isn't that what Uncle Ming, Sister Zhang, and the security guards are for? Before Jiang Suhu could wonder more, Uncle Ming came over to report that there was a delivery outside the villa gates which required a personal signature; he asked whether to let it in. Jiang Xuxu nodded towards Uncle Ming, "It's my delivery, please let them in." Jiang Suhu was curious about what Jiang Xuxu ordered that necessitated a face-to-face signature. Lu Xueqi and the others sitting in the living room didn't show it, but they were equally curious and sat waiting silently for the delivery to arrive. Not long after, the villa gate opened. Outside stood three delivery men in black hats. Jiang Suhu remembered the courier who delivered to Jiang Xuxu yesterday was also dressed in this manner. Yet, he couldn't recall seeing such work attire before. Which delivery company was this? Dressed in black clothes, black pants, black masks, they looked less like couriers and more like members of a secret organization. Jiang Xuxu stepped forward and seemed to verify their identities with her phone. Then, each of the three men lifted a large box that was about half the height of a person and followed Jiang Xuxu upstairs with ease. Jiang Suhu nearly followed them instantly. As the three men entered Jiang Xuxu's room with the box, he intended to follow in, only to see Jiang Xuxu coming back and closing the door right in front of him. Jiang Suhu's face was filled with disbelief. It's just a delivery; did it have to be so secretive? And she didn't even let him watch! Isn't he her beloved cousin?!
