Chapter 6 - The Calculated Outcome

Cuoco was lost in darkness. It wrapped around her like a blanket, thick and suffocating. She couldn't tell if this was a new place or just tricks played by her own mind. Fear crept in, but she fought to keep calm. Her hands shook as she reached out, trying to find anything real.

She couldn't give in to the darkness. With every bit of willpower, Cuoco decided to move, to find out why she was trapped here.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward and then stopped dead. Before her, like a scene from a dream, were two young girls playing in a field. Their laughter filled the air, light and joyful. This was a memory, her memory, from a happier time she had almost forgotten.

Watching them, Cuoco felt a mix of happiness and sadness. She wanted to shout out to the girls, to warn them, to join them, but her voice got lost, swallowed up by the past.

Just as she was about to run towards them, the scene shattered. A huge goblin, ugly and menacing, appeared out of nowhere. In one quick, violent move, it swung its blade. Cuoco could only watch in horror as it cut down young Coco, her sister's head falling to the ground.

Time seemed to slow down as Cuoco watched in sheer horror. Her mind could not process the brutality unfolding before her. The sight of Coco's lifeless body crumpling to the ground, her severed head rolling to a stop nearby. This sent shockwaves of agony coursing through Cuoco's very being.

Every fiber of Cuoco's being screamed in anguish as she witnessed the unthinkable tragedy that had befallen her dear sister. The image of Coco's innocence shattered by the cruel hand of fate seared itself into Cuoco's memory.

With trembling hands and tear-stained cheeks, she rose to her feet. Her gaze unwavering as she confronted the goblin before her.

Back on the battlefield, Blaze ducked as something sharp flew at his head. Quickly, he looked around, ready for anything.

Then Cuoco came at him, chains swinging dangerously. Blaze tried to talk her down. "Cuoco, stop! We need to help Coco!"

But she didn't listen. She kept attacking, lost in her own anger and confusion.

Blaze knew he had to act fast. He dodged and weaved, looking for a chance to disarm her without hurting her.

At the same time, Drago was fighting through enemies, driven by a need to save Coco. He remembered losing Amber and refused to let it happen again. With a fierce cry, he fought his way to Coco and saved her from a goblin's grasp. "No one else dies today," he vowed.

"We're getting out of here," he said firmly, his gaze never wavering from hers. "Together."

"Where do you think you're going?" Claw's voice cut through the chaos, her presence looming over Drago like a dark shadow.

Drained from the battle but fueled by determination, Drago turned to face Claw. "Wait, if you're here, where's Cuoco and Blaze?" he demanded, his eyes scanning the battlefield with growing concern.

Claw's laughter echoed across the field, sending shivers down Drago's spine. "Oh, they're busy," she taunted. A wicked grin twisting her features as she gestured toward a distant skirmish.

Drago's heart sank as he followed her gaze, disbelief washing over him. There, he saw Blaze and Cuoco locked in a deadly struggle, their once-unbreakable bond shattered by Claw's sinister influence.

A cold rage surged through Drago as he realized what Claw had done. "You witch!" he spat, his voice trembling with anger. "What have you done to them?"

Claw merely chuckled, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Let's just say I gave the girl a little something," she teased, her words dripping with venom. "Now she's not thinking straight anymore."

Drago's hands clenched into fists as he faced Claw. "You'll pay for this," he vowed. "I'll make sure of it."

As Drago attempted to reach for Coco's hand and make a dash towards Blaze and Cuoco, his movements were abruptly halted as Claw vanished and reappeared above him, her presence striking fear into his heart.

With a fierce determination, Drago lunged towards Claw, but she disappeared once more, her movements like shadows in the night. Caught off guard, Drago stumbled, his momentum carrying him forward until he crashed to the ground.

Before he could regain his footing, Claw materialized above him, her form imposing and menacing. With a swift motion, she pinned Drago to the ground, her thighs pressing down on his neck with a crushing force.

Coco rushed to Drago's aid, but Claw effortlessly swatted her aside, sending her tumbling away with a forceful blow.

As Drago struggled beneath Claw's overwhelming strength, he realized that she was unlike any opponent he had faced before. Her power far surpassed that of the feeble goblins he had just dispatched, and he knew that defeating her would require every ounce of his skill and determination.

Claw's laughter echoed through the air as she maintained her hold on Drago. With Coco lying unconscious nearby and the unsettling sight of Blaze and Cuoco locked in combat, Drago felt a surge of despair wash over him.

"You see," Claw taunted, "your friends are tearing each other apart, and you're powerless to stop it. But don't blame yourself." her voice dripping with malice, "This was the calculated outcome after all."

A sudden groan stops her laughter. Drago's eyes widened in confusion as he watched Claw's bewildered expression crossing her face. Drago could barely register what was happening as he saw a spike sticking out from Claw's chest.

Claw's eyes widened in shock and disbelief as she stumbled backward, her grip loosening on Drago. He seized the opportunity to push himself to his feet. He questioned. What had just transpired? Who had attacked Claw? And more importantly, why?
