After being surrounded by countless good-looking people — Vincent's circle — Fil was greatly aware of the definition of pretty privilege. People who could get more opportunities and favors just because of how attractive they were. She didn't want to believe it in the past. One's hard work and potential could get them just as far.
But right now, she couldn't help but think that the thing called pretty privilege existed.
"Fil, do you need help? That looks like a lot of things for a woman to carry all alone."
Fil was standing in front of the elevator, turning her head to the man who offered her help. The man offered her a friendly smile, raising his brows as he reached for her stuff.
"Let me help," another man from the man's side also joined, splitting the documents Fil was carrying to lessen the weight. "Oh, wow. This is heavy. How can you carry all of it?"
"I was raised on the farm," she smiled amicably. "I'm used to carrying weights."
