"My name's Elise. Please tell me if there are any slots opened!"
"Sure."
Alicia let out an awkward laugh as she watched the young lady, who seemed to be a freshman or a year older than that. But with such enthusiasm, she believed Elise was a freshman.
"What a refreshing sight," she mumbled and sighed, glancing at the piece of paper where Elise had written her number. She picked it up on instinct and slipped it inside her notes.
Even Alicia didn't know why she even bothered taking the piece of paper. She was already tutoring Shanaiah and with Shainaiah's temper, Alicia was afraid there was no room for her to accept other students. Moreover, Shanaiah was paying her five times her actual rate, and she even told her one of her friends wanted to join the tutoring session.
As she kept the note, her eyes then fell on the ad Elise left on her table.
