A malicious smirk dominated Fil's face as she let go of Vincent's tie. Fil slowly faced Marianne and scoffed at her.
"Fil," called Marianne, only to stop when Fil waved dismissively.
"Save your apologies, Anne. If you're really sorry, then don't ever show your face to me." Fil shook her head. "I understand if Vincent fooled around with another woman while we were together, but with my best friend? God. How can you smile right in front of my face all this time?"
"Fil —"
"Shut up." Fil hissed. "Be grateful I haven't done anything to the two of you. However, if you ever bother me and make me remember you exist, you two better say goodbye to your careers. Especially you Anne. I don't think the public will be happy if they find out that the person who delivers honest news about public affairs is capable of doing this."
