"I'm not human anymore."
Fil opened her mouth, but no words came out. She briefly squinted her eyes, humming a suspicious tune.
"You're not a human?" she repeated, barely taking him seriously. "If you're not, what are you? An alien? Where's your spaceship?"
"Aliens aren't true," he quipped. "Even if they were, I don't think they'd bother coming to Earth for world domination. There's nothing they can get in here aside from the pollution, worsening global warming, and humans who were tearing their planet slowly and painfully."
A chuckle escaped her closed lips, lowering her head with her arms still propped on the mattress. "If you're not an alien, are you… the devil?" she joked, looking at him suspiciously. "I heard the devil is quite different from what we know."
