Marcus slid his eyes to the corner, gazing at Fil as she stared at the pair of diamond earrings with a purple sapphire in it. She hadn't said anything for an entire minute now and just stared at them.
"You should try them on," he suggested. "They're beautiful."
Fil didn't take her eyes off of it, smiling. "Should I?"
Marcus just smiled subtly as he looked up at the staff across the transparent counter. "Let her try it on."
"Of course." The male staff smiled warmly, taking out the most expensive and rarest pair in their shop. He placed the display box on top of the counter, explaining to them the rarity of the earring and how it was crafted by the best jeweler in the world.
"It's also like the color of your eyes, miss," the male staff added with a kind smile. "I'm sure this will suit you like no one else."
