"Big bro, that is so cool," Elijah awed on the phone. "I've never ridden a helicopter before. That's an amazing experience."
"Don't forget to brag about it to your classmates." Jackson chuckled, holding the phone in front of his ear. "You got home already?"
"Yes. Just arrived." Elijah grinned, glancing at his parents idling with him in the living area. "They said to tell you thanks for everything. They had fun."
"Tell him to come by whenever he feels like it," Irene added, raising her voice so Jackson could hear her from the phone. "I'll make him his favorite apple pie."
"Did you hear that?" Elijah grinned. "You should come more often and bring my sister with you."
"At this point, Fil sounds like she's the one marrying into our family," Simon chuckled, earning a mild slap on his shoulder. "What, honey? We usually ask Fil to invite her friends home, but now, it's the other way around."
