"So?" Fil's eyes swirled with intrigue while watching Marcus chew the food. "Did it change your mind?"
Marcus partially narrowed his eyes, swallowing the food down.
"Is that what you're trying to do here?" he pointed at the food with his fork. "Or were you showing me you are a wife material?"
"So it's good," she grinned triumphantly. "It's been a while since I cooked something. I thought I lost the skill."
"You're not only an amazing engineer but also a great cook." Marcus nodded in satisfaction while she giggled. "Where did you learn how to cook? Took a lesson for the future?"
"Did you forget the household I was raised? Because if you didn't, I'm sure you'll know this is a skill I have to learn."
"I told you." he shrugged. "I don't know much about you, which is strange."
"And why is it strange?"
"Because we've been friends for a long time."
