Kenzo sat in the coffee shop near his brother's place, snapping his eyes up when someone suddenly sat down across from him. A snicker immediately escaped him the moment their eyes met.
"The audacity to really come, huh?" Kenzo remarked. "Does my silence inflate your ego?"
Marcus offered the man a short smile, assessing his condition. "You recovered," he pointed out, nodding in satisfaction. "I'm more surprised you agreed to meet me despite what happened to you the last time."
"Say what you want to say." Kenzo didn't beat around the bush. "I don't have the entire night to chat with you."
"And it's interesting that you agreed to meet me because of a particular reason." Marcus rested his arms against the table. "Kenzo, do you see Fil as someone more than a friend?"
Kenzo smirked. "That's surprising. Since when were you interested in Fil's affairs?"
