Christina's heart pounded against her chest as she stood in front of the stable. Dressed in long boots and a helmet, she was prepared for physical harm, but what about her heart? How could she possibly protect it from Reylan's twisted games?
"Are you ready?" Reylan asked, standing beside her. Christina nodded but frowned upon seeing him without any protective gear.
"Where is your helmet?" She asked, turning to him.
Reylan smiled and lightly knocked on her helmet, replying, "Helmets are only for crackheads. We can't damage what is already damaged, right?"
Christina gritted her teeth at his rude comment. She needed to make sure to push him onto the right rock, so his head would split open and they could replace his deranged brain with a kind one. But that was only possible if she managed to stay alive until half of this ride.
