After making their way through the room filled with undead, the team found themselves entering a narrow corridor that was guarded by mind controlling spirits.
Thankfully, the head necromancer did not consider the team to be a strong enough threat to deploy his stronger undead in these halls, as he believed that the spirits would be able to easily break down the minds of the weak adventurers that had dared to enter his territory.
The spirits guarding the balls were all tier4 beings or stronger, and while they did not possess a physical presence or the capability to physically hurt the adventurers walking in, their mental magic was elite and enough to psychologically kill a man.
It was because of this fearsome ability of the mind controlling spirits, that the necromancer's assumption about the spirits not needing any additional help to deal with the adventurers was actually sound, as a normal team would surely be unable to handle this level of mental magic.
