Abigail's POV
Mummy took it upon her self to train us after everything that happened,she went from one per time job to another just to make ends meet for us...Looking at everything my heart was on a continuous heart break because i used to remember when we were one big family eating and dining together ,the outings,all the laughter just went to pieces
(Agatha walked in Abi's room)
"Abi" no response
"Abigail"she shouted and Abi jolted from her thoughts
"How long have you been standing there mum"
"Long enough to know that you've been thinking my dear and it's not good for you,these are my problems not yours baby you don't have to worry" my mum said with a very delicate tone
"Correction mummy its our problem afterall i am the first daughter of the family and i have the right to also know what you are going through"
"I know,i know ...say what,why don't you go out and have fun with your sister Anna and i will stay here with the rest of your siblings.You can go clear your head okay?."
"Okay mum"i answered
I did all that to make her happy because seeing her sad makes he depressed.been going through alot lately because my grade dropped and we no longer live the life we were used to living....
On the street...
"Anna why don't you go on and have fun and also get some street snacks on your way back for me okay?"
"Okay sis"
I just sat down on the bench in the park when someone sat down beside me and said
"You look sad"he said
i looked up and saw a pair of red crimson eyes staring at me smiling
"A girl as beautiful as you shouldn't be looking all low spirited and gloomy"Vincent said and i smiled
"I'm not sad and not gloomy instead I'm just thinking "i said
"Thinking about what beautiful? Me?"he said and we laughed
"I just met you soo i am definitely not thinking about you"
"Ouch you just broke my heart"he said feigning sadness
"Oh C'mon "i said while laughing and then we talked for a while
I later got to know that his name was vincent walker,yes the famous walker family and i just spoke with the heir of the family
I was soo excited i felt like it was an achievement and he asked to be my friend too i couldn't say no to this opportunity
Also got to know that he was just fifteen years of age and i am thirteen years
"My parents want to hook me up with a girl that is of our status and get us engaged so taht we can marry in the future,they never let me make my own choices and it sucks"he said
"It isn't all that bad though is it?"
"Trust me it is, it's either they are rude to the people around them or they are just all about their dresses and their make up....all in all i am just too young for it and i just want to flex a little before all thos responsibilities arrrgh is that too much to ask"
"Whoa slow down there,you sound like you want to pull down the park"
"Hehe,i would only do that if you like it"
"Really,Vincent hahaha you are so funny"
"I am serious....anyways can you tell me why you were all gloomy earlier"vincent asked
"Well, i don't know where I'd start explaining things for cause it is very complicated"i replied
"We are friends right so no matter how complicated it sounds i promise not to laugh or criticize you "he said
His words were so sweet and reassuring that i felt like i coukd tell him anything in the world about me
"It's my parents they don't live together again ,in the quest of looking for a male child my Dad got a mistress and left my mum for her and since then i, my siblings and my mum have been struggling"i said about to tear up
"Oh no Abi,do not shed a tear because he isn't worth your tear if you do that you would make me sad and i would end up crying with you"he said laughing slightly
I didn't even get what he said because the moment he called me Abi it looked like the world was shutting down for the both of us the whole earth was screaming our names together i was so happy i forgot i was about to cry
"Abi are you alright"vincent asked worriedly when he saw that i wasn't responding
"Abi" he tapped me again and that was when i got my self
"Looks like someone when to the land of fantasies" and i laughed
"What do you mean land of....." I was talking when my sister walked in on us
"Hey sis here is the snack you asked for and it's getting late i wanna go home". Anna said
"Vincent thanks for cheering me up today i will..."he cut me off again
"Same time tomorrow?"
"I.."
"Great I'd see you at the park...bye"he left without giving me a chance to reply
