I come from a broken family, where my parents abandoned me at a young age. I had to learn to fend for myself and make ends meet. Scamming became my way of survival, my way of ensuring I had enough money to get by.But today was different. Today, I had just pulled off one of my biggest scams yet. I had managed to con a wealthy businessman out of a significant amount of money. As I walked away from the building, I couldn't help but feel a rush of adrenaline and satisfaction. It was moments like these that made me feel alive.I made my way through the bustling city streets, blending in with the crowd. I knew I had to be careful, as there were always eyes watching, waiting for an opportunity to catch me. But I was a master of disguise, always changing my appearance and using aliases to avoid detection. As I walked, my mind wandered back to the encounter with the stranger earlier. Those eyes...there was something about them that intrigued me. But I couldn't afford to let my guard down, not now. I had to keep moving, keep staying one step ahead.I reached my small, dingy apartment and locked the door behind me. It was a far cry from the luxurious lifestyle I portrayed to the world. But it was my car and I sat down in the car and took a deep breath, letting the reality of my actions sink in.I knew what I was doing was wrong, morally and legally. But in this cutthroat world, I had to do whatever it took to survive. I had seen the dark side of humanity, and it had hardened me. Trust was a luxury I couldn't afford. As I stared at the stack of cash on the coffee table, guilt and emptiness washed over me. I had become a master manipulator, preying on the vulnerabilities of others. But deep down, I knew I was just as vulnerable. I was a product of my circumstances, a victim of a broken system. But tonight, as I lay in bed, I couldn't shake off the image of those eyes. They haunted me, reminding me that there was more to life than just survival. Maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for redemption. But for now, I had to keep running, keep scamming, and keep fighting to stay one step ahead

I rush out as fast as could without anyone suspecting me, unknowingly I bump into someone. I looked up just to see a pair of eyes look at me "Am so sorry " i said then quickly walked past him I had no time to adore the person I needed to leave now.
I walked out the big building with a smirk on my face "mission accomplished "
Let me introduce myself properly. I am Bridget Martin a college graduate and also a wild woman who is not afraid in taking risk, am also a scammer I trick people into giving me money, well I have to do what I could do best to survive because in this world no one will stand for you, you have to stand up for yourself.
We don't do what we do because we enjoy it but because we need to survive. Kids on the streets do depend on us.
"Hey are you okay". Kai asked?
Kai is my best friend. We grew up at the orphanage together so… he basically knows everything about me.
How I was rejected by my own parents.
"Yeah, I'm fine, " I said and gave him a weak smile.
"Let's go inside "he said
I totally forgot we got back home.
I walked into the orphanage house to see the kids greetings us with a smile on there faces and with lovely hugs, I could not be more happier
The orphanage used to be a disaster when the government stopped funding and taking care of the orphanage. The workers left the kids all by themselves.
That's when me and my team of friends decided to do something about it because it was the same place we grew up in, we worked hard to fix With our hard work the orphanage is good as new but the number of homeless kids keeps increasing, we try our best to bring some them in with the number of kids increase everyday so does our bills so we needed to work harder to provide for them
I have given my whole life into this not letting them lack.

I watched as she stared at me, at that moment I felt like the moon goddess had finally blessed me.
She stood up straight and apologized. Her voice was the sweetest thing I have ever heard but everything changed when I felt her walking away in a rush from me. It was like my heart was also taken away and I couldn't do anything to stop her.
"Good morning alpha " my beta Charles, who is also my best friend, greeted me.
"Mate" that was the only thing I could think of.
"Uhh.. I don't get you, "Charles asked.
"I need you to search the Camera's for the woman who was standing with me a few minutes ago " I said in commanding tone
"Yes alpha " Charles said
"Get me all the information about her " I added walking to my office.
"Okay but sorry to ask why are you interested in her " Charles asked
I turn around with a smile and answer "because she's my mate".
