Chapter 9 - CHP 9: Finding and Fighting JonG-Gun...

.

.

.

After training for a few more hours, and pushing past his limits, Jacob had grew stronger, achieving his goal of 1 Ton and then some with other improvements to his endurance and speed...

.

.

.

Having gotten washed up, and ready for the weekday, he headed out into the city to find the craziest guy in the series that he knows.

.

.

.

"Hay, daniel... Yeah. I'm hanging out in the city today, gonna handle some things..." Jacob hung up the call, looking around the area at the same time. Going through ramen stores around the area and looking going through any smoke he sees...

'Arghh!... Where is this guy?'

Jacob knew that Gun had some questionable visits in the series, especially of a guy with his nature. And, he was practically always with his dumb dumb blond friend, Goo.

Going through the city a bit more, Jacob asked around, not getting any favorable responses. All he knew at the moment, was that gun passes through the area, and was a regular at some of the stores he already went through...

.

.

.

Having searched for hours, he decided to stop...

"This is ridiculous... Looks like Gun's playing hide and seek today. I was really looking forward to training with him," Jacob muttered under his breath, a hint of frustration evident in his voice.

The size of the city seemed to go against his needs, making the search for Gun an impossible challenge...

As Jacob contemplated his next move, a sudden interruption snapped him out of his disappointment. A brash yet calm voice cut through the air, "Well, he ain't lookin' for students either, now get outa my way!"

Startled, Jacob turned to find a towering figure, easily reaching 6'3", with sharply combed hair and a prominent scar that added an intimidating edge to his appearance. Jacob, caught off guard, couldn't help but marvel at the twist of fate that brought this stranger into the scene.

In a twist of fate that felt like he had the devil's luck. Gun had seemingly found him instead.

"It's, you!" Jacob exclaimed, anticipation lighting up his eyes. However, Gun merely sidestepped him, as if his presence was a nuisance, inconsequential at best.

"He... He...ignored me?" Jacob's frustration transformed into a simmering anger. Despite his initial excitement, the dismissal from Gun stung. Unwilling to let the opportunity slip away, Jacob couldn't contain the surge of pride that welled up within him...

"OI!!!" he shouted, his voice carrying authority as he confronted Gun. His pride, akin to a wild tiger he had consumed, threatened to consume him now, but he quickly reined it in, determined to address Gun without losing his cool...

Gun halted, glancing back with a hint of intrigue. "What? The hell do you want?" he retorted, annoyance evident in his tone. Jacob, now in control of his emotions, seized the moment...

That was until, Gun began releasing making his presence truly known. Jacob took a step back as Gun looked at him.

'Shit! My senses... Ever since that I absorbed that tiger, I could gauge someone's power, but Gun... To think he was this strong...' Jacob could tell, no. He could literally feel Gun's strength radiate off of his body. And Goo was no slouch either, his presence felt, sharp...

Still, he wasn't gonna run away like a bitch.

"I want to fight with you... Whether you like it, or not!" Jacob didn't plan on taking no for an answer.

"*Sighs...* Give me a sec Goo, this shouldn't take long..." His experience told him that Jacob wouldn't take no for an answer either. And normally, he wouldn't entertain fools like this, but this time, it felt, different...

Suddenly, a massive wave of pressure hit Jacob from afar. Instantly, he got on all fours, almost growling at Gun...

Seeing this, Gun smirked, "Huh? Are ya' some kind of animal...? Or are you just insane? He asked, slightly interested. Strangely, for a moment, Gun thought he was actually seeing some wild animal...

Gun then removed jacket, giving it to Goo.

'He's going to attack soon... I can feel it...' Jacob watched as Gun got closer, his presence only intensifying with each step...

As if on queue, instantly Gun dashed forward, launching a powerful high-right kick.

'He's fast!!!' Jacob thought. With his level of perception and danger sense, he could manage to react to Gun's kick. With still some room to breathe.

'Hmm... He managed to dodge that kick? Interesting...' Gun thought, still smoking...

"Not, bad!" Goo said from a far, now clearly interested as well.

On the other hand, Gun stopped, taking his time to lower his leg, now slightly surprised that whoever this is, managed to dodge. And not only that. The way he dodged...

'If I lose focus even for a moment, he'll just knock me out instantly... I can't afford for that to happen...' Jacob concentrated, his stance tightening a bit more. His experience of the tiger aiding him a bit more than he anticipated.

However, Gun smiled slightly. Not wanting to turn down a somewhat decent fight when faced with it...

'...This might be more entertaining than I thought it would be.' He smirked, 'But let's see if he can handle this!' Gun upped his speed a bit more, this time, using taekwondo to through a flurry of rather powerful kicks...

'He got, even faster!?' Still composed, Jacob timed the strikes. watching them carefully, looking at their trajectory as well. He quickly surmised that they were stronger as well...

After the volley, Gun stopped, now even more impressed, while Goo had his popcorn eating in the back...

"Well, I didn't think you'd be able to dodge those. You're pretty good... And since I'm feeling courteous, I'll allow you to come at me with whatever you want..." Gun responded.

"Thanks... I'll take you up the offer!" Jacob charged, However, he perfectly mimicked the moves Gun initially did, dashing in with a powerful right kick...

sending a burst of kinetic energy slicing through the air. Gun, still maintaining his composed demeanor, effortlessly sidestepped the attack, his movements almost dance-like in their fluidity.

Goo, too engrossed in the spectacle, paused mid-popcorn-munch, thoroughly captivated by the unfolding display of skill.

Gun, a wry smile playing on his lips, acknowledged Jacob's attempt. "Nice try, but imitation won't get you far. You'll need more than that to leave a mark!"

Jacob huffed. Undeterred, he pivoted up again, seamlessly transitioning from the moves he copied. Then he unleashed another series of rapid kicks; Copying what Gun had done earlier with terrifying detail, each strike calculated and precise...

It was evident that Jacob had that one trick up his sleeve, and his determination to make an impression, and that very same thing was fueling his every move...

This however, didn't go unnoticed by Gun at all, 'This kid... Does he have, that? He must have... He perfectly copied my kicks without any effort.' Gun thought, puffing his smoke...

Gun, though maintaining his calm facade, couldn't help but admire it all. The little exchange continued, a dance of offensive and defensive maneuvers.

Wanting to test his theory a bit more, Gun used more attacks, getting faster as the fight continued, his curiosity actually rising...

As their fight continued, and Gun using more moves from boxing and Muay-Thai Jacob's movements actually grew more fluid, adapting to both his own ebb and flow...

As the spar progressed, it became a symphony of motion, the air filled with the swish of punches and kicks with the thud of perfectly timed blocks. Goo, now on the edge of his seat, had temporarily forgotten about his popcorn with his smile fading, genuinely mesmerized by the fight...

Gun, after a sequence of evasive maneuvers, finally decided to up the ante, "A little Impressive brat, but can you handle, this!?" he taunted, launching into a rapid flurry of strikes, the precision and speed of which seemed almost supernatural.

Jacob only smiled, even though he was barely hanging on, the more he was pushed, the more he could actually feel himself growing stronger from this fight alone.

Gun being perceptive from his past battles, had realized this too, each time he kicked and punched; Increasing his speed and power, he had to always increase his output a bit more each time, 'Does this kid not have a limit?'

They had been fighting for a little while, but not a bead of sweat fell from Jacob's head, with both Goo and Gun noticing this, but Gun was sure that the guy wasn't even breathing hard...

Having been sufficiently entertained, Gun backed off, dodging one last strike from Jacob with ease. Having already confirmed his suspicions of him having that...

'Still, even if he's nothing to me now, with training; he could be a worthy fighter... No, a master-piece...' Gun surmised, liking his idea so far.

"Hey... You said you wanted to train, right? Meet me at the junkyard south of here... Come next Saturday, be late, and I'll kill you, got that?" Gun finished, not missing a single beat. Jacob realized he actually was serious...

.

.

.

'I-I actually managed to get that crazy bastard to train me... This is, good...' With a smiled...

'Don't worry Gun, I'll be there...'

While Gun on the other hand, had already left with Goo...
