PROLOGUE

"RUN"

-"KEEP WALKIN"

But.. The words coming from his mind would never influnce his physique. Tears dripping from the aching wound, As blood follows down the elbow staining the white shirt. Having him questioning his self. Will I get caught again and locked back and never find another way out?

The darkness of the forest had made his path seem way longer. The thoughts in his mind want to scream them out in the form of pain, and build up fustration. Yet it he was slient and determine to not whisper a letter in the fear of getting caught my the troops of the royal guards.

Any person would have the slightest idea of where is his path leading him too. But here was He, a 12 year old running from the existence, the identity he got with royal standards lost inside this dark and depth of forest.

Nearly tripping over a mere crack within the muddy ground filled with grass and dead mosses written all over, legs tremble from pain taking all over the left shoulder, the arms, and the forearms. Drops of blood continously oozing from the wound, and there being the cold breeze and wind making the run harder. The signalling nerve of his body tells he might pass out of exhaust and tiredness from keeping running or wise to say struggling to even walk. From the fog in the cold waves, temparature of his body was dropping along with heavy breathing. Soon.. He knelt down from the weakness and pain in his body placing his back on the trunk of a tree holding the wet wound on his bruised arm. Having no idea of the time he leaned his head back resting while the last piece of memory flashed in his head before he passed out in the plain sight of darkness.

--Flashback--

"Master vlorien, it's time for your bedtime." The maid closed the window after turning the light off looking at him with a soft smile.

"Yes, I am aware." He closed the book turning of the laps on the nearest self tucking him in the warm-tidy bed.

"Goodnight, Master Vlorien." The maid left with the crackling sound of the door locking in. After a few minute of utter silence he got up from the bed opening the window having a look at the sky full of gloom and the moon shining brightly. Suddenly a slight breeze of winding gliding against his chin, sent a shiver down to spine. It's been a few years living this up inside the castle. However the only reason for this was numerous attempts taken by him to flee from the castle.

The truth be told, he wasn't even a noble to even begin with. He.. Knew he was adopted. Even still he tried to bland with with the others but alas. Somethings just aren't meant to be. Soon almost everyone knew of it, as a maid who worked in mention leaked the news, but even still, most didn't dare to speak up against him in fear of his father who was a high level cultivation.. Still that didn't stop the spreads of rumours..

And because of this almost everyone started to moke him, talk behind his back.

"Hm? Wait is that.. Vlorin?"

"Stop messing around there's no way that's him last time he went out it of duke's castle was 7 months ago!"

"No look! It is him! Pfft doesn't he have any shame to show up after what happened?"

"He's still at 2nd stage Qi Formation realm.."

"Sigh... Sometimes i feel bad for the duke to have such a son."

Whenever he went out he heard people talk about him, even though he tried to ignore that at first.. Turning a blind ear to those comments and eye to those who pointed at him. When ever he heard those comments it always reminded of what his great grandfather has said.

"Strength rules over laws.. For those with strength, laws are just scribbles of random words in a blank page. It's worthless to them. Strength will always be respected even if it doesn't come from the heart.. Vlorin"

Which always made him wonder... What if he was stronger like those prodigies even if he was adopted people wouldn't dare to point finger and treat him like this right? But currently he wasn't strong enough.. So he must endure until he was.. Atleast that's what he said to himself at that time.

But soon, He got tired of maintaining his "royality" from dawn to dusk but.. It eventually got to him. Soon starting to think new ways to run away from this "royal" life. His numerous failed attempts of running has never made a differenece in his thoughts. His thoughts still gave him the courage to try again and again and again. Today was going to be one more of the "failed attempts" or the one that leads to success. Gently tieing one cloth to the other in the tactic to form a rope to escape the castle throu the window.

He took a few items in need. Tightly attaching the cloth to the end of the bed making it more dependent to take his weight as he slowly pushes himself throu. He was quite aware how to make it down without any noises or sounds as he got down after a minute of two. He walked in uttered slience toward the walls of the fort climbing on the top of it. No sooner had he climbed, he had gotten a discomfort in his balanced and fell down causing a loud scream abruptly, alerting all the guard on duty ran to open the main gate of the fort.

This was the only chance.

Straighting his back off the ground as he stamble to stand up holding his bruised arm. He ran as fast as he could limping and swaying. He wiped the dirt of his face and his hair running with all the strength he had.
