Chapter 19 - Chapter 19. First Night in the Forest

Looking at the Jacked Wolf's body that collapsed to the ground, I heaved a sigh of relief. "Finally dead."

"Good job!!" Kina shouted as she ran towards me.

"Barely." A voice sounded behind my back.

Knowing who it was, I turned around, showing a wry smile on my face.

"We should continue our journey now, since you've already learned a few "useful" tips." Tskuta said coldly.

Kina, hearing this when she arrived, was angry. "What do you mean by that?"

"The opposite."

"What!! Clearly, my advice helped Kuta during his battle!!"

"Also distracted him, right?"

"You!!"

"Okay, no need to fight. Both of your advices you gave me were of great help." I quickly intervened before it became more intense.

Hearing me, Kina had a proud look on her face, but suddenly, remembering something, she turned towards Tskuta and became angry again. "Wait, when did she give advice!!?"

"Well, umm, although it was not directly intended to be advice, it still helped a lot with the fear I had." Talking about this, I was slightly embarrassed. For a grown man to say he had fear in front of two women, is truly embarrassing.

Listening to me, Kina, although accepting what I said, was still angry.

"Tsk, I don't know why she must be the one to train you. I'm a lot stronger than she is." She mumbled in a low voice with a grumpy attitude.

"Let's go; we need to at least cover more ground before setting up camp." Tskuta said as she looked at the sky before walking.

(Don't tell me she's really following what those goblin guards said. No, it should not be right. Probably my imagination.) Shaking my head, I followed after.

"Tsk, Shaman Hulu said I must be Kuta's guide, and now she's acting like she's the guide." Kina complained in a low voice while following behind.

After an hour of walking, Tskuta finally stops, resulting in me also pausing. Scanning my surroundings, I frowned. (I know this is my first night in the forest, but is it usually like this? So, Quiet.)

Noticing my expression, Kina chuckles. She walked up to me and softly whispered in my ear. "At night, most creatures sleep, but not all."

Listening to Kina caused me doubt and not the good kind.

"Dark creatures come out of the resting place, rising from graveyards and temples. Their soul purpose is to feed on the living. The humans call them vampires hooo~."

At first, I was kind of getting creeped out, but she just had to say hooo~. Not even horror movies can scare me anymore; did she really think I'm going to be...

Click

"Huh? What's that? Kina asked while staring towards the dark forest behind me.

Although I also heard this, but considering she did try to scare me before, I'm sure it's probably her playing tricks on me again.

"Hey Kuta, I'm serious. Something just made a sound over there." She said while pointing towards a certain part of the forest.

(Yeah, yeah, probably the vampire, yes.) I nodded my head in pretenscious recognition.

"You two, if you don't want to sleep on the ground tonight, then help me set up the tent." Tskuta's cold voice sounded out, making both me and Kina turn our heads.

"Anyday now."

Hearing this, I hurried over to help her, and Kina also followed, but as always, she has to be grumpy.

"Ordering me around, you're lucky Kuna's also helping; otherwise, Hmph!."

-1 hour later-

After 20 minutes of endless setting up, a tent finally appeared in our vision. Normally, we would have finished earlier, but many problems arose.

One being, how the heck do we set up a tent with a palm-sized cloth? By voice, you can hear who that belongs to: me. Yes, I have no idea how it was set up. I had to learn while we did it, which cost a lot of time.

The other problem can probably be guessed. I can't say Tskuta, because she's probably the only one who did most of the work. Kina, on the other hand, well, there were multiple instances of her arguing or intentionally finding fault with Tskuta, but even so, it all worked out.

And at the end of the day, I'm lying in one person's tent with two women. One who is madly over me and another that well I don't know really. So is my life bliss??

Nope, definitely not. For the average male, this is probably heaven, but for me, well, all I can say is that it ain't feeling like heaven.

"Goblin, don't you dare try to lay one finger on me." Tskuta's voice sounded.

Listening to this, I shivered in fear but panicked when I thought about Kina next to me.

(Please don't tell me she heard.) Turning around my head with hope in my heart. I saw a scene that I will definitely never forget.

Because the tent was very small in space, we had to sleep together, and by that, I mean really, really together.

Kina's hair was all over the place, her green eyes tightly shut, and her undersized clothes tightly wrapped around her body. All looked normal, except...

Her hands were very mischievous. One reached down into her pants while the other reached into her shirt, caressing her breast.

From time to time, she would softly whisper out a name. This caused me to turn red because the name she was calling was mine.

"Kuna."

Her soft voice whispers in my ear. I want to keep on listening to this gentle voice of hers, but something tells me doing so will lead to a whole lot more.

Resisting the temptation that has befallen me, I turn my head in the other direction, but I am frightened by what I see.

Two green eyes were coldly staring at me.

(Why did I turn all the way?)

"Goblin, don't try anything funny." Tskuta said as her face turned ever colder.

Gulp

I nodded when hearing this and quickly turned my head to let it face upward.

(Please let this night just be over already.)
