The next day, Elias and Maddison got to work. They planned and procured everything they required. Tailors and seamstresses were flown in to sew them their wedding outfits. For the occasion, Maddison also flew in her best friend, Anna, who would be her maid of honor.
Her jaw was on the ground when she realized they were on a private island with a beautiful stone castle serving as the backdrop.
"Maddy!" Anna waved to her excitedly as they ran up to each other.
"Anna!" Maddison called out to her friend as they embraced one another tightly.
"How's everything at the bakery? I'm sorry I left in such a rush. I didn't even have time to…"
"Oh, you don't have to worry about anything! It's all in good hands, everything is proceeding smoothly. Oh my goodness! Is that the ring?" Anna gasped when she saw the glittering diamond on Maddison's finger.
"It is! Come, you must be tired," She said as she led Anna towards the castle.
