"Do you really think you can get away with this, Markus?" Leo asked coldly.
"Boss! Don't waste your breath on this fucker! I'll kill him! I'll kill him and avenge Maddison!" Sylvester swore in anger.
"This is not your fight, Sylvester."
Leo sighed as he shook his head. But he didn't look flustered or afraid. Eliza watched the exchange intensely. Her breath was hitched in her throat. Sweat trickled down her brow as she carefully placed her hand on the gun holster on her belt.
If anything happened, she was ready to defend herself. Markus was as smug as ever.
"You think a piece of trash like you can touch me? You stupid stupid fool!" Markus cackled loudly, laughing at Sylvester's expense.
He grabbed Sylvester by the collar with a smirk on his face, "You should have accepted my offer two years ago. Then you wouldn't be stuck on the wrong side."
