Elias's heart pounded in his chest as he followed closely behind the men. He knew from the way they dressed and spoke that they likely belonged to Maddison's grandfather, Leo Salvarone. He remained silent throughout and only spoke when Leo greeted him.
"Where is Maddison?" He asked without hesitation.
There was no other question more important than that.
"Elias, I need you to take a seat," Leo said calmly.
His stance was putting everyone in the room on edge. Elias hadn't noticed it just yet but everyone had their hand on their guns, wondering if he was about to hurt Leo Salvarone. The gleam in his eye made it look as if he was about to murder someone.
"I just want to know where she is," He repeated, refusing to back down.
"You're going to want to sit down for this," Leo replied.
