"Now, may you come with me." Saying this, the immortal prince took her hand and pulled her along. As if he was asking her for a dance. Well, she didn't feel like dancing at the time, and she resisted.
However, the Angis grabbed her waist with his other hand and dragged her, albeit gently. Then something most unlikely happened. He began to take steps in the air, taking her with him.
Liara couldn't help but marvel. However, when they gained height, she clung to him. If she fell from there. Liara didn't want to continue thinking. The immortal, Zane, grabbed her hand and her waist more firmly. Then, suddenly, Liara felt like she could step firmly on nothing.
How? A laugh from him brought her out of her stupor.
"If you stay next to me, you will be able to continue with the walk without problems. So, please don't let go of my hand."
Liara looked at the immortal's hand clasped in hers. His fingers were twice as long as hers, and his hand felt refreshing. His body temperature was not warm like a common person's.
Then, the landscape before her occupied all her thoughts.
Liara marveled and could not stifle a sound of admiration. They walked through the air, crossing quiet gardens and pavilions until they reached a passage with spectacular mountains.
"This is the Blue Valley," The Angis told her with his baritone voice.
The place was wonderful. It was a picturesque valley enclosed between several mountains. A beautiful and impressive lake with turquoise waters stood out in the center, and various waterfalls fell from the mountains on both sides. The color of the waters was just the same as that of the Angis's eyes.
"This is Lake Zane. I was named after it." The Angis explained in a warmhearted tone.
Oh! The place must have held a sentimental memory for him.
Liara had consigned the situation she was in, to oblivion. Now she felt like landing there and exploring the place. Nevertheless, her guide continued on his way.
"Come on, I will show you the Tulip Trail in the White Desert and the Crystal Cave."
Liara looked at him for a few seconds while she enjoyed the feeling of the wind on her face. They moved at a gentle pace while he carried her with care. And this Angis, who was more than two hundred years old, looked like an excited child. It was kind of cute.
Cute!? Had she thought that for real? Liara shook her head, determined not to be fooled. Then he took her to an incredible place full of huge white rocks with curious silver patterns. The soil was covered by white and shiny sand. And in that splendid but arid place, there were red tulips everywhere.
Liara was ecstatic.
"It's said is good luck to carry a little of this sand," Zane confessed.
Then they landed at the end of the path and entered a cavity that opened in one of the large white rocks.
The Angis guided her walking to the entrance of a large cave.
Liara entered the cave feeling suspicious. But she was completely fascinated and speechless at what she saw.
They were in a cave full of crystals, and it was a simply magical spectacle. The light reflected on thousands of what appeared to be crystallized quartz. They looked so pure, all colorless and transparent, they reflected the spectrum of light in all its nuances. The most illuminated areas of the cave were like endless rainbows. And there were several since there were open cavities in the upper part of the cave.
"Is gorgeous…"
"Yes…" Her partner said and when Liara looked at him, she found him looking at her and nothing else.
Liara blushed. What was wrong with her? She thought.
So she prepared to make a clear point right there.
"I'm going back to my home." She stated. Then his eyes turned into blue flames. "Sooner or later, someday. I will." Liara added.
