Curse had no idea why he had just been told to fire the sludge he could produce with his Utility outward.
Ess couldn't speak, but while milking his supernatural affinity for Fint, even in this state, he managed to illustrate what he wanted by drawing an ugly image of it in the air. It was pretty much a collection of Fint doodles, with one that looked vaguely like Curse spilling out wads of darkness about.
It had taken Curse a few moments, but he understood in the end and did as he was told. He generated as much sludge as he could in a wide range, but saw no immediate results. But Ess and his little mutant were watching. Besides the flying rocks, chunks of dirt, and remains of beasts that had been blown apart by the Fint Crystals, something had to react to the spray of gloop.
